Dim Sum Birthday Card - Lawn Fawnatics #227

It's time for another Lawn Fawnatics challenge, and this time we're having Fun with Food! If you ever were told as a child not to play with your food, now is your chance to do it, guilt-free! I've been wanting to create a card with the various sushi stamps for a while now, so I knew this was the perfect opportunity!

I pulled together images from Soy Happy, Year Thirteen, and Year Sixteen, colored them with Copic markers, and trimmed them out with the matching dies. Then I created a steamer basket using Build-A-Barrel: Apple. I used Distress Oxide Inks to add some shading.

For the background wallpaper, I used patterned paper from the Falling Leaves Collection Pack and stamped my sentiment in the top right corner. I cut down Light Brown Woodgrain Cardstock for the table and again added Distress Oxide Inks for shading. Then I popped the images up with foam tape and finished with a little Stardust Stickles

Card Making Marathon - Making As Many Cards As I Can With Pre-colored Images

Hey friends, today I'm sharing the results of a Mini Cardmaking Marathon I did last week. I challenged myself to create as many cards as I could using only pre-colored images from the dish that I keep on my desk. I'm not a super fast crafter, and it usually takes me all day to make a single card. But since the coloring was already done, I was curious to see how many I could do. I ended up making three cards and I filmed the entire process. So come join me and see how I made three cards in a day! Click the thumbnail below, or you can find the video HERE on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty. Thanks so much for watching!

Highland Autumn Card - Lawn Fawnatics #226

Hey friends! It's time for a new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge, and this one is an Inspiration Board with a Fall/Back to School theme. I chose to go for the cozy Fall vibes with a bit of a feminine flair. Lots of pink mixed in with the more traditional seasonal shades.

The star of the show here is one of the adorable Highland Cows!, but I also pulled in accessory images from several favorite Fall stamp sets, including Happy Harvest, You Crow Girl, and the Pick of the Patch Add-on. To give the cow a little more height, I brought in the hay bale from You Goat This.

For the focal panel, I used the Cloudy Stencil on a Small Stitched Circle Stackable with some Distress Oxide Inks. I popped this up with foam tape over layers of Falling Leaves and Pint-sized Patterns: Summertime patterned paper. I finished with a trio of Iridescent Sequins and a bit of Stardust Stickles.
