Hey friends! We've reached the year's midpoint, which means it's time for our Christmas in July Challenge at Lawn Fawnatics! I chose to make an East Coast Christmas card, extending all the way from Maine to Florida. I pulled in images from Christmas Fishes, Beachy Christmas, Smooth Sailing, Life is Good, and the Car Critters Christmas Add-on.
For the background, I started with a piece of Bristol Cardstock, and blended on Distress Oxide Inks. I used Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs for the sand, and Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon, and Uncharted Mariner for the sea. I left a small band of white cardstock between, then pounced on some Dr. Ph. Martin's Bleedproof White acrylic paint to simulate the waves lapping the shore.
I arranged my images in a collage-style L shape and adhered them with a combination of Scotch 3M Foam Tape and liquid glue. Then I finished off the card with an Everyday Sentiment Banner and a little Stardust Stickles.
