Holiday Card Series #9 - Lawn Fawnatics #210

Hey friends, it's time for another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge, and this one is all about Coffee, Tea, & Treats! If you know me, you know I love the Lawn Fawn Treat Cart! I've used it for every single season multiple times, and this one marks my 10th card featuring it! I combined it with it's companion sets, Treat Cart Add-on: Coffee, and Treat Cart Add-on: Tacos, plus Coaster Critters, Car Critters Christmas Add-on, Christmas Before 'n Afters, and Merry Mice.

I stamped them out in Jet Black Ink, colored them with Copic markers, and trimmed them out with the matching dies. Then I trimmed down a piece of All the Sparkles 6x6 patterned paper with the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables, and blended on Faded Jeans and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Ink. Over this, I layered two Stitched Hillside Borders snowdrifts, with my sentiment stamped at the bottom.

I covered the Lobster card base with more patterned paper and glued the focal panel on top, then added my images with a mix of foam tape and liquid glue. And of course, I had to finish off the card with some Stardust Stickles.

2025 Holiday Card Series #8 - Lawn Fawnatics Feature

Holiday Card Series 2025 #7 - Lawn Fawnatics #209

It's time for another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge and this is the one where Critters Celebrate the Holidays! My critters are celebrating the season by building a snowman. I've combined images from Merry Mice, Frosty Family, Scootin' By, Backyard Bird Feeder, and A Creature Was Stirring. I stamped the images in a dark brown ink and colored them with Copic markers, then trimmed them out with their matching dies.

For the background, I used the Cloudy Stencil and blended Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink onto a panel of Bristol Cardstock. then splattered it with Gansai Tambi Starry Colors. I added two snowdrifts using the Stitched Hillside Borders and a Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frame of Chocolate Bar Cardstock.

I attached this to a Ballet Slippers card base and adhered my images with liquid glue, including a speech bubble sentiment from Say What? Holiday Critters. I finished off the card with a sprinkle of Clear Sequins and some Stardust Stickles.

Holiday Card Series 2025 #5 - Fawny Holiday Week

It's Fawny Holiday Week over on the Lawn Fawn blog! All week, the Lawn Fawn and Lawn Fawnatics design teams will be bringing you so much holiday inspiration, and videos too! There will also be daily giveaways, so you're definitely going to want to check back each day.  

For my project, I created a paper mug treat favor -- no dies required! This is a tutorial I first brought you 11 years ago! Back then, it was using 12''x12'' patterned paper, but this time I have modified it for 6''x6''. These are so fun to make, and only require a few simple supplies, and the possibilities of what to fill them with are endless. I used paper from the new All the Sparkles 6x6 pad and decorated it with a Tiny Tag, a cute image from Sweet Christmas Mice, and some Mistletoe Twine.

Holiday Card Series 2025 #4 - Lawn Fawnatics #208

Hey friends, it's time for another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge and this one is a mashup of Holiday Old + New! Since I love mixing and matching Lawn Fawn sets on a card, this one was right up my alley! I combined images from the new Cozy Cats, Cozy Cats Christmas Add-on, and All the Santa Hats with an older classic, Christmas Dreams. I colored them all with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For my background, I started with some patterned paper from the Falling Leaves 6x6 for the wallpaper and a piece of Light Brown Woodgrain Cardstock for the floor. I trimmed these down with the largest Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackable and glued them to a Chocolate Bar card base. I added a thin strip of white cardstock at the join for the baseboard.

Then I started arranging my images and gluing them down, once I was happy with the placement. I kept everything flat to make it easier for mailing, since this is a holiday card. I especially like the flat cards for sending to friends and family overseas. And I think the arrangement of the images still provides lots of dimension. I added in a sentiment using All the Speech Bubbles and finished it off with some Stardust Stickles.

Holiday Card Series 2025 #3

Hey friends, today I'm bringing you Day #3 of my 2025 Holiday Card Series , and this one is a two-fer! I'm creating TWO cards featuring the adorable new Mama Elephant Candy Cane Lane stamp set. This one was just too cute to color just once. I had such a blast bringing these images to life with my Copic markers, then trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For this card I went with a portrait orientation, which gave me a little less room for images, but plenty of space for a nice, big, bold sentiment from Very Merry Sentiments. Sometimes a bold greeting is just the thing to make your card really stand out. I did a simple watercolor wash background with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink and added a bright red Flirty Scallop Frame to set it off.

The second card uses all the same supplies (minus the sentiment set), but this time I flipped it in the landscape orientation so I could really fill it up with as many of these adorable mice as I could fit. Build a Scarecrow Card - Lawn Fawnatics Feature

Once again, I used a rainbow color palette to color a scene that depicts all my favorite things about Fall. I combined images from Merry Mice, Happy Harvest, Apple-solutely Awesome, and several more. Nocturne Rainbow Card - Lawn Fawnatics #207

Hey friends, it's time for another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge and this one is all about Rainbows! I love creating rainbow-colored cards, and who says that rainbows are just for Spring? Fall is full of rainbows, too! That's the direction I decided to go in for this card, pulling together images from so many of my favorite Autumn stamp sets, including the Pick of the Patch Add-on, Spring Basket Add-on: Fall, Halloween Mice, Jump for Joy, Let's Go Nuts, Porcu-pine for You, Happy Harvest, You Autumn Know, and You Are Sublime.

That's right, I used NINE stamp sets on ONE single card! But I love a scene that is chock full of images. It gives you so much to look at! All of these images were stamped in Jet Black Ink, colored with Copic markers, and trimmed out with their matching dies.

For the background, I trimmed down a panel of Bristol with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables and blended on Distress Oxide Inks. I started with Peacock Feathers in the center, then worked out to Chipped Sapphire, and finally Black Soot on the edges. I added some splatter, and once that was dry, arranged my images with a combination of liquid glue and foam tape. And of course, I had to finish it all off with some Stardust Stickles.

Holiday Card Series 2025 #2 - Lawn Fawn Feature

Cozy Kitty Cat Card - Lawn Fawnatics #206

Hey friends, it's time for another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge and this one shares a theme with of my favorite movie of all time: There's No Place Like Home! I decided to create a cozy indoor scene for the new Cozy Cats, combining them with images from Purrfectly Wicked, Meow You Doin'?, Window Scene Winter, and the Porcu-pine for You Add-on. I colored all the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I cut down a piece of striped patterned paper from the All the Sparkles 6x6 pad with the largest of the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables for my wallpaper and added a Light Brown Woodgrain Cardstock floor with a strip of white cardstock for the baseboard. I popped this over another piece of patterned paper from the same pad, which I trimmed down with the largest Large Stitched Rectangle Stackable.

Once the card base was assembled, I adhered my images with liquid glue. I added an Everyday Sentiment Banner stamped in Peachy Keen Ink down at the bottom, and finished up this card with a little Stardust Stickles for a bit of sparkle and shine.

Harvest Thanks Card - Lawn Fawnatics #205

Hey friends, it's time for another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge and this one is all about Awesome Autumn! I combined so many images on this card to create a happy little harvest scene, including Pick of the Patch, Spring Basket Add-on: Fall, Treat Cart, Treat Cart Add-on: Coffee, Apple-solutely Awesome, Porcu-pine for You, Happy Harvest, and the Yappy Birthday Add-on. I colored the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I started with a piece of Bristol and blended on some Distress Oxide Inks. I used Shaded Lilac and Speckled Egg with the Cloudy Stencil for the sky and Rustic Wilderness and Bundled Sage with the Slimline Grassy Stencil for the ground. I stamped a sentiment in black ink in the top left corner.

I glued the background to a Lilac card base and adhered my images with liquid glue, making it nice and full of fun little details. Then I added a Stitched Rectangle Frame in Hyacinth to pull in the colors of the treat cart and add a nice pop. And of course, I finished things off with a bit of Stardust Stickles on the apples.

Coloring & Life Update - Big Changes Coming to My Channel

There are some things going on in my life that are going to affect my YouTube channel going forward, and I just wanted to give you a bit of an update so you know what to expect. Let's Go Nuts Birthday Card - Lawn Fawnatics #204

Hey friends, it's time for another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge , and this one is a Woodland Wonder! I decided to go with my favorite of all the woodland critters, the red squirrel! And I made this an interactive card for some extra fun. I combined images from Let's Go Nuts, Spring Basket Add-on: Fall, and All the Speech Bubbles, colored them all with Copic markers, and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

To make this card interactive, I brought in the brand-new Knock, Knock, Who's There die and created the mechanism with Bristol Cardstock. I turned that into the background by using the Cloudy Stencil with some Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink for the sky, and the Slimline Grassy Stencil with Shabby Shutters and Rustic Wilderness for the grass. 

Then I die cut the trunk of the Knock, Knock, Who's There Tree Add-on out of Light Brown Woodgrain Cardstock and blended on Vintage Photo to enhance the edges. I cut the tree top from Fake Tan Cardstock and added leaves using the Autumn Breeze Stencil with Carved Pumpkin, Crackling Campfire, Festive Berries, and Aged Mahogany. Once I had all the elements ready to go, it was time to add in all the details! Always the most fun part. And I finished it off with a little Stardust Stickles.

Trying out Ohuhu Honolulu Markers

Hey friends, so I've got one last set of markers to try for my mini series on Copic Marker Alternatives. Last time I tested out the Ohuhu markers, but it turns out that this brand has a few different styles, and the Ohuhu Honolulu markers are very different from the last ones. They look completely different, have different nibs, a completely different color palette, and in my opinion, color differently too. Check out the video and see for yourself. Honk If It's Your Bday Card - Lawn Fawnatics #203

Hey friends, it's time for another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge , and this time we're having Fun with Food! I am absolutely loving the new Silly Goose! stamp set from Lawn Fawn, so I knew I had to start this card there. I brought in images from Swan Soiree, Toadally Awesome, Beary Rainy Day, and the Tea-rrific Day Add-on, colored them all with Copic markers, and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

To set the stage for my little scene, I brought in the Riverside Backdrop: Portrait. I die cut it out of Bristol Cardstock and then used Distress Oxide Inks to add color. For the sky, I used Salvaged Patina with the Cloudy Stencil and stamped a sentiment in the top right. For the river, I used Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers, and for the grass, Bundled Sage and Rustic Wilderness.

I adhered the backdrop to a Mermaid card base. Then it was time to start arranging my images. I laid things out a bit to figure out the best balance and then glued them all down with liquid glue. And then, of course, I had to finish the card off with a bit of Stardust Stickles.
