2022 Holiday Card Series #6

Hello friends! Today I'm bringing you a card using products from the brand new Hello Bluebird Release. This card features the adorable Merry Carolers stamp set, which includes seven singing critters. I chose five to use on the front of my card, and stamped the other two on the inside. I colored the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I used another of our new scene building dies, this one being the Snowy Countryside Square Scene. I used Copics again to add a bit of color to my snow drifts, and also to the sky, trees, and house. I stamped a sentiment at the bottom and added an aqua frame to give it a bit of extra oomph.

Art Journal with Me #10 - Dreams Create the Future

Hello and welcome to my October Art Journal with Me Video! This month I was a hundred percent inspired by my recent trip to Portland, Oregon and the Pacific Northwest Coast with my hubby for our 22nd wedding anniversary. I collected various bits of ephemera from our travels, which I incorporated into this spread in my Art Journal. I even included a magazine page featuring Haystack Rock, one of the highlights of our stay.

I also used some Stamperia Forest 8x8 paper, washi tape, and stickers, and sealed it all with Clear Gesso. Then added color using a combination of Faber-Castell Iridescent Gelatos and Stabilo Woody 3-in-1 Pencil Crayons. To finish things off I added some Tim Holtz Small Talk stickers as a title, and some white splashes using Dr Ph Martin's Bleed Proof White ink.

I made sure to include lots of photos of our travels, so I hope you'll grab some supplies or a snack and a drink and come hang out with me! 2022 Holiday Card Series #3 - Hello Bluebird Preview Day 2

Hey everyone, I'm back for Day 2 of previews for the Hello Bluebird New Release! All of the new products will be available tomorrow, October 23rd at 7pm MST (9pm EST). For my card, I used my favorite set of the entire release, Snowman Competition. This set is chock full of cute critters rolling snowballs to build snowmen. I colored the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I used another of our brand new scene building dies, the Ice Skating Pond Horizontal Scene. These are so much fun to put together. Just like building a puzzle! I used Distress Oxide Inks for the sky, all colors will be shown in the video and listed below it in the description bar. I used my Copics to add color to the snow drifts and the trees.

Thanksgiving Night Card - Hello Bluebird Preview Day 1

Hey friends, today I'm so excited to bring you a sneak peek from Day 1 of the Hello Bluebird New Release. All of these products will be available in the Hello Bluebird shop on October 23rd at 7pm MST (9pm EST). My card features the Friendsgiving stamp set, which is such a cute one! I colored the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I used one of our brand new dies, Winter Birch Scene. These scene building dies make it so easy to put a card together. I can't say enough good things about them. I colored everything in with Distress Oxide Inks except the Birch trees, which I added the dark patches to with Copics. The Distress colors I used will be shown in the video and also listed in the description bar below it.

Beary Cozy Day Card - Lawn Fawnatics #135

Hey friends, today I've got a very cozy card for our newest Lawn Fawnatics Challenge, Coffee, Tea, & Treats! I wanted to create the perfect fall day for Mama bear, so I've got all her favorite things surrounding her, from books, to coffee, to crafts. I combined so many sets for this one, including Den Sweet DenApple-solutely AwesomeSnow Much FunCrazy Antics, and Jump for Joy.

For the background, I used the Cloudy Stencil to create a sky on some Bristol Cardstock with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink. Then I trimmed down another piece with the Slimline Grassy Hillside Borders and blended on Twisted CitronMowed Lawn, and Rustic Wilderness. I trimmed the focal panel down with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables.

I popped that up with foam tape on a Guava card base and adhered my images. Then I white heat embossed a sentiment onto Narwhal Cardstock and staggered that down the left side of the card. I finished with a little bit of Stardust Stickles.

2022 Holiday Card Series #2

Hello friends! Today I've got a card duo for you guys, using the Hello Bluebird Frosty Littles stamp set. I just adore these sweet little snowmen! They really are just so fun and easy to color. I colored mine with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

The Gallery Frame #3 die, like many of the Hello Bluebird Gallery Frames, make it so easy to make two cards at once, by simply switching out the two parts of the frame. I die cut it out of patterned paper from the Simple Stories Feelin' Frosty 6x8 pad, and used another piece for the snowy backdrop. Then I added some snow banks using Hill & Dale. I finished with a sentiment from Frosty Friends and some Stardust Stickles.

If you'd like to see how this card came together, click below or you can find it here on YouTube. I really hope you enjoy it! And if you missed Day one of my 2022 Holiday Card Series, you can catch it on the playlist. Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things - October

Hey friends! I'm here with the October edition of Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things, this time using the adorable new Stacey Yacula Holiday Hello stamp set with Santa collecting his mail at the North Pole! I colored the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I used layers of patterned paper from the Colorful Christmas 6x6 die cut with the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2on top of a Caribbean Sea card base. I used more patterned paper for a quick and easy sky, and added a Stitched Snow Drift. I added my images and finished with a sentiment and a bit of Stardust Stickles.

Pumpkin Patch Cards

Hey friends, I'm back today with a card (two, actually, we'll get to that in a minute) using the super adorable Mama Elephant Hey Pumpkin stamp set. I just love these darling critters and their cute pumpkins! They are so much fun to create a scene with. I stamped them all in Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink, colored them with Copic markers, and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

I used the Mama Elephant Peek A Frame dies to create a focal panel, which I colored with Salvaged Patina and Bundled Sage Distress Oxide Ink and splattered with Gansai Tambi Starry Colors. I popped that up over some Simple Stories Full Bloom 6x8 patterned paper and added a sentiment from Hello Bluebird Fall Buddies.

After I filmed and uploaded the video, I wanted to keep playing with this set, so I created a second card in the vertical orientation, using all the same supplies. I really like how that one turned out too, so I thought I'd share it as well.

If you'd like to see the video tutorial, you can click below or find it here on YouTube. I really hope you enjoy it! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Monochromatic Bats Card - Lawn Fawnatics #134

Hello friends, welcome to another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! This round we are creating monochromatic cards and I thought this was the perfect opportunity to use the new Fangtastic Friends. A spooky evening sky and some bats would look so good in a desaturated blue violet. I colored the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For my background, I started by using the Nighttime Sky Stencil to create a glowing moon. I masked off the area I wanted to leave white, and then blended Distress Oxide Inks onto Bristol Cardstock. I used Salvaged PatinaShaded LilacHickory Smoke, and Black Soot. Then I used the rest of the stencil to add the crater detail and splattered everything with Gansai Tambi Starry Colors.

I stamped Happy Halloween onto an Everyday Sentiment Banner, and colored that with my Copic markers as well. Then I popped that and my images up with foam tape to give them a bit of dimension. I finished with a bit of Stardust Stickles for a little extra sparkle.

If you'd like to see how this card came together, you can view the video tutorial below or find it here on YouTube. If you enjoy it, please consider subscribing to my channel and leaving a comment! I so appreciate it! And now it's time to head over to the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge Blog and see what the rest of the design team has created to inspire you! Thanks so much for stopping by!
