2016 Holiday Card Series #21 and Lawnscaping Challenge #144

Hi friends! Today's post is bittersweet. Not only is it the final card in my 2016 Holiday Card Series, it's also our very last Lawnscaping Challenge. I've been on the Lawnscaping design team since day one, and it has been such a wonderful experience, working with amazingly talented ladies, and making so many wonderful friends. I'm so sad to see it end.

Challenge #144 is all about Christmas. I wanted to do something extra special, so I created my first ever pop-up box card. I love how it has so much dimension, yet still folds flat to fit inside an A2 size envelope without even any extra postage! I used the Lawn Fawn and Simon Says Stamp Stamptember collaboration set, Happy Howlidays. But if you missed out on that set, not to worry. In the video I give you suggestions for how to recreate a very similar card using other images. Click on the video link to watch it there in HD and please don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe.

Please head over to the Lawnscaping Challenge blog and check out the other amazing design team projects and don't forget to link up your own to play along. It's your last chance to win a FREE stamp set of your choice from Lawn Fawn. I hope you'll join us. Have a great day!

2016 Holiday Card Series #20

Hi there, friends! Today I bring you Day 20 in my 2016 Holiday Card Series! Just one card to go, and then I'll be taking a break to enjoy spending time with my family over the holidays. For today's card, I used the adorable Memory Box Snowglobe Wishes stamp set. This sleeping deer just stole my heart! And I love how Santa is tiptoeing up with his sack full of goodies to leave this sweet deer a Christmas gift.

All Copic colors and supplies are listed in the video with links in the description bar below. Click on the YouTube icon to watch it there in HD and please don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe! Have a wonderful weekend, everybody!

2016 Holiday Card Series #19

Hi friends! Today I bring you these sweet Shake It Up Polar Bears from Kraftin' Kimmie  for Day 19 of my 2016 Holiday Card Series. I thought it would be fun to create a scene that flowed across three tags on a card front, made up of a Distress Inked background. My images were watercolored using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. Don't these cute little guys make you smile?

All colors and supplies are listed in the video and linked in the description bar below it. Click on the YouTube icon to watch it there in HD and please don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe. I hope you all have a wonderful day!

2016 Holiday Card Series #18

Happy Monday, friends! I'm starting the week off with another episode in my 2016 Holiday Card Series! We're coming down to the wire here with Day 18. Today I'm using this super adorable set, the Beary Merry by Neat & Tangled. Isn't that bear just the cutest!

I wanted to create a more rustic looking card, using the gorgeous Christmas Deliver 6x6 by Carta Bella. I did some Copic coloring, and added a little paper-piecing to take advantage of a few more of those lovely patterns.

All colors and supplies are listed in the video with links in the description box below. Click on the YouTube icon to watch it there in HD and please don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe! I hope you all have a wonderful start to your week!

2016 Holiday Card Series #17

Happy Friday, everyone, and welcome to Day #17 in my 2016 Holiday Card Series! Today I'm recreating a card that I originally shared for Lawn Fawn's A Very Fawny Holiday Week, because I loved this little glimpse inside the igloo with these penguins from Snow Cool. I used the tree and string of lights from Cheery Christmas to help set the scene, along with a sentiment from Merry Messages.

Can you spot my big oops on this card? I bet you can't! In the video, I show you how to take your screw ups and fix them, because believe me, I do it all the time!

2016 Holiday Card Series #16

Friends, I am so excited to be bringing you Card #16 in my 2016 Holiday Card Series this morning, because this Cup of Happiness set from Your Next Stamp is seriously the cutest thing ever! I was dying to color these cuties up and share them with you. Just look at the faces on those marshmallow guys! So hilarious! And that bear mug is just too, too cute.

I hope you enjoy the video. All supplies are listed and linked below the video in the description bar, although YouTube has been glitchy with links lately for me. I've contacted Support and I hope to have it resolved quickly for you guys.

But for now, click on the YouTube icon at the bottom right corner to watch there in HD, and please don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe. It means a lot to have your support! Love you guys!

2016 Holiday Card Series #14

Happy Friday, friends! Today I bring you Card #14 in my 2016 Holiday Card Series. This one features the adorable Avery Elle Polar Pals stamp set, which I have been itching to use for quite a while. It's funny, I really, really dislike snow (yes, I do live in the reigning Snowiest City in the US), yet these arctic critters are some of my most favorite of all -- especially polar bears! And I love creating scenes with them.

I colored my images with Copic markers and all colors and supplies are listed in the video, with links in the description bar below. I hope you enjoy it! 2016 Holiday Card Series #13

Hey friends! We've made it halfway through another week! Can you believe there's only 25 days left until Christmas?! I can't. I haven't done any of my shopping yet. I feel like I am woefully behind -- in every area except my 2016 Holiday Card Series! I have now officially made it longer than any of my series. The most I'd ever made it to was 12, but today I bring you Card #13!

I stamped my C. C. Designs Snowman with Squirrel image on the smooth side of a piece of Tim Holtz Watercolor Cardstock, and colored it with my Derwent Inktense Colored Pencils and a Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen. The sentiment is from C. C. Designs Snowman Sentiments. Isn't it sweet?

2016 Holiday Card Series #12

Good morning, friends! Happy Monday! I hope those of you in the U.S. had a wonderful Thanksgiving, filled with love and laughter and delicious food. I took a little break on Friday, but I'm back today with the next installment in my 2016 Holiday Card Series. I hope you guys are enjoying it so far!

For today's card, I'm using the Neat & Tangled Santa's Wonderland stamp set, which is chock full of adorable images! I colored it with my Copics and made it into a shaker card with a frame using the Scalloped dies. All colors, supplies, and other info is listed in the video.

2016 Holiday Card Series #11

Hey friends! I know it's the day before Thanksgiving here in the States and no doubt you've got a ton of prep work to do, so I'm going to keep this short and sweet. I thought about taking a break from my 2016 Holiday Card Series for the rest of the week, but the truth is, I've got so many more cards planned, and if I skip a day or two, that means I'm going to run out of time before Christmas comes, so I decided to just forge ahead! Hopefully if you don't have time to watch now, you'll be able to come back and catch up over the weekend. :)

So today I bring you Card #11, using these cute polar bears from Poppy Stamps Polar Bear Fun and colored with Copic markers. I added lots of sparkle and shine to this one, well, because my sentiment told me to! Haha!

All colors and supplies are listed in the video. Click on the YouTube icon at the bottom right to watch it there in HD and please don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe. Happy Thanksgiving!

2016 Holiday Card Series #10

Hey friends! Back again with my second post of the day, to bring you Card #10 in my 2016 Holiday Card Series. I loved this MFT Stitched Triple Peekaboo Window die I purchased recently, and knew I had to use it in this series. The little deer from Mama Elephant Reindeer Games fit just perfect!

I colored them with Copic markers and gold embossed a sentiment from Jolly and Merry to finish it off. All colors and supplies are shared in the video. Please enjoy!

Sunflower Thanks - Lawnscaping Challenge #142

Hey friends, happy Monday, and welcome to Lawnscaping Challenge #142. As we approach Thanksgiving in the United States this week, it seemed appropriate for our challenge to be centered around thankfulness. For my card, I dug out Lawn Fawn's Our Friendship Grows and watercolored it with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. I die cut my focal panel with the Stitched Journaling Card die and added one of the Stitched Scalloped Border dies as an accent.

Please head over to the Lawnscaping Challenge blog to check out the other amazing design team samples and don't forget to link up your own thankful project and play along. Our prize this round is a FREE stamp set of the winner's choice, generously donated by Lawn Fawn. Have a great day!

2016 Holiday Card Series #8

Hi friends! Yesterday I brought you this card for A Very Fawny Holiday Week, and today I'm bringing you the video for Day #8 of my 2016 Holiday Card Series! I actually remade the card, since I didn't have a chance to film it the first time. Thank goodness that Echo Park Deck the Halls 6x6 pad had two sheets of every pattern!

Just to recap for those who may have missed yesterday's post, I used Law Fawn's Frosty Fairy Friends to create my scene and colored it with Copic markers. All colors and supplies are listed in the video.

2016 Holiday Card Series #7

Good morning, friends! Today I give you card #7 in my 2016 Holiday Card Series! This sweet Poppy Stamps Holiday Hoopla set was supposed to be in last year's Holiday Card Series, but due to my late start because of our move, I simply ran out of time before I got to it. So it definitely had to go on the list for this year!

I colored these adorable deer with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens and all colors and supplies are listed in the video. I hope you enjoy it!

2016 Holiday Card Series #5 & #6

Hey friends! Today is a special bonus day because you get two cards in one go! It's cards #5 and #6 in my 2016 Holiday Card Series! I couldn't decide which image to use from this adorable Your Next Stamp Warm Christmas Wishes set, so I used two! Aren't they just so cute?

To make things easy on myself, I stuck with the same layout for both cards, but went with a different color palette in my cardstock and patterned papers.

Hey friends! Today I'm happy to bring you day four in my 2016 Holiday Card Series. This adorable snow couple from Newton's Nook Frozen Friends has been on my "must use" list for quite some time, so I was glad to get an opportunity to ink them up and play.

I colored them with Copics to match my patterned papers from the Crate Paper Snow & Cocoa 6x6, and did a little paper-piecing for their scarves. All colors and supplies are listed in the video.

Hello friends! Welcome to the third installment in my 2016 Holiday Card Series, which was created for Lawnscaping Challenge 141: Clean and Simple. For today's card I used Lawn Fawn's Winter Unicorn and colored her in with Copic markers. To set the background scene I stamped out the snowflakes from Making Frosty Friends in Lawn Fawn Mermaid ink, and added a sentiment from Merry Messages with Juice Box ink.

All copic colors and supplies are clearly shown in the video. I hope you enjoy it! Click on the YouTube icon at the bottom right corner to watch it there in HD and please don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe!

2 Nuts About You Cards

Good morning, friends! It's nearly the weekend! Yay! Today I've got a couple of cards for you using the Nuts About You collaboration set from Neat & Tangled and Simon Says Stamp for their Stamptember event last month. Sadly, this set sold out in record time, but I was fortunate to have snagged one. And you guys know how much I love my squirrels!

If you love the style of these images, you should check out the Neat & Tangled Christmas Release that will be in the Butterfly Reflections Ink shop this evening or tomorrow. Apparently there was a problem at the manufacturer that caused a delay in the stamps being sent out to retailers. But it's all fixed now and they're on their way!

I colored the images in with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. All colors are listed within the video as they are used. Click on the YouTube icon to watch it there in HD and please don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe!

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! Thanks for stopping by!

Welcome to Lawnscaping Challenge #140, crafty friends! This round is a color scheme challenge. We chose purple and black, but we kept things interesting by allowing you to choose one final color of your choice. For my card, as you can see, I picked orange.

I used Lawn Fawn's Spooktacular combined with some Doodlebug papers and my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. All colors and supplies are listed in the video.

Click on the YouTube icon to watch it there in HD and please don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe. I appreciate it!

Fall Fest - Lawnscaping Challenge #139

Hey friends! Happy Monday, and welcome to Lawnscaping Challenge #139: Pinterest Inspired! We've put together a gorgeous mood board full of fun fall fabulousness to get you inspired to create! The minute I saw it, I knew I had to pull out my Lawn Fawn Jump For Joy stamp set yet again. I just can't get enough of it lately! It's perfect for this colorful time of year. Especially when combined with Copic markers!

I also used images from Happy Harvest and Holiday Party Animal to fill out my scene. I filmed the creation process of the first card, but after the camera stopped rolling, I just couldn't stop! So I made a bonus card with just a few subtle differences. Two cards to send out is always better than one, am I right?

Click on the YouTube icon in the bottom right corner to watch the video there in HD. And please don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe! I'm not stopping at 10K! My next goal is 25K! Ha!

Huge thanks to the wonderful Ellen Hutson, LLC for sponsoring this round with a generous $25 gift certificate to her shop! Please head over to the Lawnscaping Challenge blog to check out the other amazing design team samples and link up your projects to play along.

Have an amazing day!
