Valentine Card Series #3

Hi there, friends! Welcome to Day 3 of my 2020 Valentine Card Series! Today's card has definitely got that loving feeling, but could actually be used for any number of occasions all throughout the year. It features the adorable Panda Pals by My Favorite Things. I love that this little guy can be turned in a few different directions!

I also added in some flowers from Beautiful Day and colored all the images with Copics, then trimmed them out with the matching dies.

I chose three complimentary sheets of Echo Park Forward with Faith 6x6 patterned paper and trimmed the floral print down with the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2, and then used the Jumbo Peek-A-Boo Circles to add a window. I popped that up with foam tape and layered it over the other patterned papers. Then I added my images with a mix of foam tape and liquid glue. To finish things off I added a white heat embossed sentiment on black cardstock and a dot of Crystal Stickles to the center of each flower.

I also finished off the inside, which you can check out in the video tutorial! Click below to watch, and don't forget to hit that like button and subscribe! Your support means everything. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Lawn Fawnatics #69 + Valentine Series #1

Hello everyone! Today I'm kicking off my 2020 Valentine Card Series, which is also my card for Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #69: For the Birds! I think this would be the perfect Valentine for a teen or pre-teen -- since it's not too lovey dovey. My card features one of the Winter Sparrows, but I am interpreting the ear muffs as wireless headphones! The iPhone and sentiment is from Love Letters.

I colored my images with Copics and trimmed them out with the matching dies. The tree branch was stamped in Walnut ink. I created a focal panel with Watercolor Wishes patterned paper trimmed down with a Stitched Circle Stackable and added two clouds from Spring Showers and some music notes from Christmas Fishes.

I popped this up with foam tape over some Gota Have Gingham and Fall Fling 6x6 patterned papers trimmed with the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables and the Stitched Party Banners dies. To finish off the inside, I stamped with Peacock ink.

Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things - January

Hello friends! I'm so thrilled to be back with you for another year of Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things! I just love MFT's products and I love that I get to continue sharing my projects with you all on the My Favorite Things YouTube Channel

Today's card combines Pure Innocence Soft Place To Land with Birdie Brown's Let's Stick Together in a cute scene with a little story to it that is tied together with the sentiment. I personally love my cacti, and sometimes want to touch them, but I always regret it when I do! Haha. Talk about loving from a distance! I colored all my images with Copics and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

I created a focal panel with the Stitched Mini Scallop Square STAX Die-namics with the frame trimmed out of some Sweet Stacks patterned paper and popped that up over another piece of striped paper trimmed with the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2. I adhered everything to a Grapesicle card base. To finish things off, I added a few sequins and filled in the centers with Crystal Stickles.

Serene Sympathy Card

Hello friends. Today I'm bringing you a card that isn't very fun to make or to give, but can definitely bring comfort and healing to someone in their time of need. I'm talking about sympathy cards. I find that sympathy cards can be some of the hardest to make because they're not colorful or cute and fun and the tone and message they convey is so important to get right.

I feel like you can't go wrong with silhouette images like these from Newton's Nook Serene Silhouettes and Whispering Pines stamp sets. I stamped those in Lawn Fawn's Deep Sea ink onto a Stitched Journaling Card. Then I tore a piece of white cardstock to create a snow drift and stamped a sentiment from Reverse Confetti Tall Blooms. I layered this over Simple Stories Heart patterned papers trimmed down with the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables and finished off the card with some Carta Bella Snow Much Fun enamel dots.

I've created a video tutorial so you can see how this card came together. If you find it helpful I would love for you to hit that thumbs up button and subscribe! It would mean so much. Thanks so much for stopping by today.

The Big Cheese - Lawn Fawnatics #68

Happy 2020, friends! Are you ready for a new year of Lawn Fawnatics Challenges? We are starting off with Something Old, Something New, which seems fitting if you ask me! I decided to make a big cheese card, using Wild for You and Elphie Selfie as my something old, and Love Poems for my something new.

I colored my mice with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies. Then I created my cheese by blending two panels of Bristol Smooth Surface cardstock with Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink. I cut out holes using the Stitched Circle Stackables and trimmed down the front panel with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables.

I stamped my Love Poems sentiments in the medium holes and added my mice to the larger holes with a couple extra stamped hearts to help fill in the space. And I popped the top panel up with foam tape. I also did some stamping on the inside, which you can check out in the video.

I've created a video tutorial so you can watch this card come together. Don't forget to like and subscribe! It means so much.

And now its time to head over to the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge Blog and check out the other design team samples. I know they've created something amazing for you all! Hopefully you'll be inspired to play along!
