Hot Diggity Dog Card

Hey friends! Today I'm bringing you a fun card using some new stamps from Heffy Doodle. I combined images from Hot Diggity Dog and Who Let the Dogs Out. I stamped them in Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink and colored with Copics, then trimmed them out with the matching dies.

To create by background elements, I blended Distress Oxides onto Bristol Smooth Surface using the new Pink & Main Ergonomic Blending Brushes. I love the soft look they give! I used Bundled Sage and Mowed Lawn for the ground, and trimmed them down with the MFT Grassy Hills Die-namics. For the sky I used Tumbled Glass and the Lawn Fawn Cloudy Stencil, and trimmed that down with the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables.

I also cut the Lawn Fawn Picket Fence Border out of white cardstock. I stamped my sentiment on one of the grassy borders with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and assembled my scene.

I trimmed down two pieces of Simple Stories Summer Farmhouse patterned paper with the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables and adhered those to my Cilantro card base. Then I popped up my focal panel with foam tape to give it some dimension and complete the card. I also stamped on the inside with Noble Fir.

Gnome Watermelon Patch - Lawn Fawnatics #81

Hey friends! Welcome to another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! This round we are celebrating Summer and all the goodness it brings! For my card today, I drew inspiration from the color palette, and also the watermelon slices and decided to make a watermelon patch with some adorable gnomes busy with their harvest. I combined images from Oh Gnome!Crazy Antics, Happy Harvest, Fairy Friends, and Elphie Selfie.

I stamped everything out in Jet Black ink, then trimmed them with the coordinating dies. I also stamped a bunch of leaves and vines in Noble Fir and JalapeƱo inks. For my background, I used the Meadow Backdrop: Landscape and sponged on Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink with the Cloudy Stencil for the sky, and Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn for the grass. I stamped a sentiment from On the Beach in the top right corner.

I adhered the focal panel to the Cilantro card base with the Glue Tube, and added my images onto the scene. Then I finished off the card with two little butterflies from Butterfly Kisses. I also stamped on the inside with an image from Happy Summer stamped in Noble Fir ink, which you can check out in the video tutorial.

Hey friends! Today I'm thrilled to be over on the MFT YouTube channel with the July edition of Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things! This month I'm featuring the adorable Best Friends in the Universe stamp set. I colored up these cuties and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

I created my background using Distress Oxides, and splattered on water, Perfect Pearls, and Copic Opaque White. The Perfect Pearls gives it a nice shine when you tip it in the light! Then I made a frame out of Cement Gray Cardstock trimmed down with the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 for the outside, and the Elegant Rectangle STAX for the window. I stamped my sentiment with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and popped the frame and my images up with foam tape.

1 Set 4 Ways Ep. 8 - MFT Woof Pack

Hello! Today I'm bringing you another episode of my popular 1 Set 4 Ways Series. This time I'm featuring the adorable doggies from the Birdie Brown Woof Pack stamp set by MFT. I stamped these guys in Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink and colored them with Copics to look like beagles, then trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the focal panels, I cut down four pieces of Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock with the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Circle Stackables and blended on a different colored Distress Oxide ink for each one. I used Worn LipstickSqueezed LemonadeTumbled Glass, and Mermaid Lagoon

For my patterned papers, I used the Party Plaid and the Summertime Polka Dots from MFT. I cut down the plaids with the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables and the polka dots with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Party Banners dies.

I adhered these to  two MFT Sno Cone and two Lawn Fawn Apricot card bases with the Lawn Fawn Glue Tube and popped up the focal panels with foam tape. As a final touch, I added a few Enamel Dots to each card.

You're Flamazing Card

Hello friends! Today I've got a bright, happy, girly card for you all using Sunny Studio Fabulous Flamingos. Aren't these cuties just so adorable? I stamped my images with Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink, colored them with Copic markers, and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

I had so much fun playing with the gorgeous Summer Splash patterned papers. For my focal panel, I chose a pretty blue wavy background, resembling the ocean. I trimmed that down with the Stitched Semi-Circle dies. I stamped a sentiment at the top and added a sandbar at the bottom with Dolphin Cardstock cut down with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Simply Wavy Borders. Then I adhered my images using the Glue Tube.

I chose three more patterned papers and layered them onto my Ballet Slippers Cardstock, then popped my focal panel up in the center with foam tape. I finished off the inside with some stamping in Plastic Flamingo Ink and added a little Stardust Stickles to the flower centers as a final embellishment.

Life's a Picnic - Lawn Fawnatics #80

Hey friends! Welcome to Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #80. This round is all about playing with our food. Haha! I adore these sweet little mice from Crazy Antics and with Independence Day just this past weekend, I thought a picnic scene would be the perfect thing. I stamped them in Jet Black Ink and colored them with Copics, then trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For my background, I took a yellow sunburst print from the Hello Sunshine Remix 6x6 pad and stamped a sentiment with Jet Black and Lobster Inks. Then I layered a piece of Noble Fir Cardstock trimmed down with the Grassy Border

I took another sheet of patterned paper and trimmed it down with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables, then cut a window out of it with the Small Stitched Circle Stackables. I popped that up with foam tape over the background scene and then adhered my images using the Glue Tube.

Birthday Fishes Card

Hey friends, today I'm back with a fun under-the-sea card for my nephew's 9th birthday. When I saw the new Sea Birthday set from Waffle Flower, I knew it would be perfect for him! I stamped the images with Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink and colored them with Copics, them trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I used the Mini Media Mat and blended Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink onto a Bristol Smooth Surface panel for the sand, then used Pine NeedlesPeacock Feathers, and Speckled Egg for the sea. I added some splatter effect and a sentiment, then trimmed the panel down with the Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I mounted it with foam tape onto a Rainforest card base, adhered my images, and added some Glossy Accents to the bubbles as a finishing touch.
