A Sweet Somebunny Card

Hello there! Today I've got a super sweet card to take you into the weekend. This one stars the A Very Sweet Somebunny set by Rachelle Anne Miller for MFT. Aren't these critters darling? I stamped them in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink, and colored with Copic markers, then trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For my background, I wanted to feature one of the larger prints from the Simple Stories Bunnies + Blooms 6x8 pad, so I die cut the rainbow on the offset with the Lawn Fawn Cross-Stitched Square Stackables and added a little Noble Fir hill with a Simple Stitched Hillside Border and stamped my sentiment on that. I added my images and popped up the focal panel with foam tape over a few more layers of that patterned paper, trimming them down with the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables and the Stitched Scalloped Borders. Then I finished off the card with just a touch of Stardust Stickles

Brighten My Day Card

Hello friends, happy Monday! Today I've got a card for you using another of the Hello Bluebird backgrounds. This time I used Country Roads and paired it with the girl and the bird from Picked for You and the kitties from Tabitha. I colored everything with my Copic markers, and I'll have all caps shown clearly in the video so you can follow along if you like.

I trimmed the background down with the Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables and the images with their matching dies. Then I adhered the background to a standard-size A2 card base, which I made from MFT Grapecicle cardstock. I stamped a sentiment from Happy Wishes in the space below the tree branch and added my images with liquid glue. Then I finished up the card with just a touch of Stardust Stickles.

Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things - April

Hey friends! Today I'm so happy to bring you the April edition of Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things! This month my card features the sweet Sprinkling You with Love stamp set. Isn't it darling? I stamped all my images in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic Markers, then trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I took a piece of Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock and die cut it with the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 and blended on some Distress Oxide Inks to look like the sky just before a storm. Then I heat embossed the sentiment and the raindrops in liquid platinum embossing powder.

I created a card base from Kraft Cardstock and layered on some navy and white patterned paper from the Stripe Splash 6x6 pad, which I also trimmed down with the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2. Then I popped my focal panel up with foam tape and adhered my images with liquid glue. I finished off the card with some white gel pen details on the watering can and some Stardust Stickles on the clouds.

I also finished off the inside of the card, which you can check out in the video on the My Favorite Things YouTube Channel, or simply click below. I had so much fun creating this one, so I hope you guys enjoy it too! Thanks so much for watching!

Garden Friends Card - Lawn Fawnatics #99

Hey friends! Today we've got another fun Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! Our theme this round is one of my absolute favorites: Create a Scene! I love scene cards so much. It's a great chance to pull together images from different sets and tell a little story. For instance, the friends on my card today are starting a community garden. They've all come together and brought their own packet of seeds that they can plant and enjoy for weeks to come.

I used images from Some BunnyJump for Joy, and Crazy Antics. I altered a chips bag for my seed packet by erasing the word from the center with my Stamp Shammy before stamping, and then filling it in with either a flower or the word "seeds" with a Momento Tuxedo Black Marker. I colored everything with Copics, and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the focal panel, I die cut a piece of Mermaid Cardstock with the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables for my sky, then layered on a Noble Fir Grassy Border, and a Cilantro Simple Stitched Hillside Border, where I stamped my sentiment in Noble Fir Ink. I added my images and popped up the panel with foam tape over some Spring Fling 6x6 patterned paper. I finished off the card with a bit of Stardust Stickles.

Fairy Wishes Card

Hey friends! Today I'm so excited to bring you this card featuring the gorgeous new Hello Bluebird Mushroom House background stamp. I had so much fun coloring this baby up! And I can't wait to do it again. For this card, I combined images from Fairy DanceFairy Garden, and Garden Party. I colored them all with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

The background I trimmed out with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables and popped it up with foam tape on a Lawn Fawn Apricot card base. Then I added my images with liquid glue and finished with a Lawn Fawn Everyday Sentiment Banner and a bit of Stardust Stickles.

Happy Bird-day Card

Hello friends! Today I'm excited to share with you a sweet birthday card combining Hello Bluebird Garden FriendsOh Nuts!, and Greetings Bear. I stamped all the images in Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink, and colored them with Copic markers, then trimmed them out with the matching dies. I chose my color combos based on the patterned paper in the Simple Stories Summer Farmhouse 6x8 pad.

For the background, I used the Lawn Fawn Cloudy Stencil to blend some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink onto a piece of Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock to create a sky. Then I die cut two coordinating prints of patterned paper with the Hello Bluebird Gallery Frame #2, and popped that up with Foam Tape over the background, and adhered my images with foam tape as well. I finished the card with a sentiment and a bit of Stardust Stickles.

Home Sweet Home Card - Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #98

Hey friends, welcome to another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! This is a fun one because it is all about spring! I chose to take the pretty color palette as my inspiration to create a fun Spring scene celebrating my brother and his girlfriend's recent purchase of their first home together. I combined Tiny Friends and Happy Village to depict them and their dog standing outside on the front lawn of the new house. I colored the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the focal panel, I started with Mermaid Cardstock cut with a Large Stitched Circle Stackable, and layered on a Noble Fir Stitched Hillside Border and a Cilantro Simple Stitched Hillside Border. I backed the focal panel with some patterned paper from the Hello Sunshine Remix 6x6 pad die cut with a Scalloped Circle Stackable.

On my Ballet Slippers card base, I layered a piece of Perfectly Plaid Remix paper, trimmed out with the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables, and added the blue print from Hello Sunshine across the center. Then I popped my focal panel up with Foam Tape, adhered my images, and finished with a little (but not too much since its also for my brother!) Stardust Stickles.

Look for Rainbows Card

Hello friends, happy Friday! Today I'm excited to share a card with you using this sweet little bunny from Avery Elle's Look for Rainbows stamp set. That little grin just makes me smile! I colored the images with Copic markers and added some detail to the bunny's raincoat with a White Gelly Roll Pen, then trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I blended Tumbled Glass and Stormy Sky Distress Oxide Inks onto a Bristol Smooth Surface panel, and die cut it with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frames. I stamped a sentiment on the left in Versafine Onyx Black Ink. I popped this up on foam tape over a piece of Sunny Studio Spring Fling patterned paper and finished off the card with some Stardust Stickles.
