Hey friends! It's time for my last Friday Feature as part of the Butterfly Reflections Ink design team. Our term is ending and on Monday a whole new crew will be introduced. It's a great group of talented ladies and I know you're going to love them!

For my last card I used the super sweet Reverse Confetti Toucan of Friendship and colored my images with Copic markers to match my Simple Stories Faith patterned papers. The rest of the details I'll have over at the BRI blog so I hope you'll head over and check out my post.

Welcome Kanga Baby - Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #3

Hey friends, happy Monday! It's time for our third Lawn Fawnatics Challenge: Outstanding Occasions. Create your finest for those milestone moments in life -- wedding, anniversary, baby, or graduation.

For my card, I was actually inspired by one of my followers, who commented that a card I made on Friday would make a great baby card. So I pulled out one of my favorite "baby" Lawn Fawn images,  the kangaroo from Critters Down Under and created a little scene around her, coloring my images with Copic markers.

Then I took my leftover scraps from Friday's card to create a new one (love getting two different cards out of the same supplies!) and die cut them using Large Stitched Rectangle StackablesStitched Party BannersLarge Stitched Circle Stackables, and Scalloped Circle Stackables. I layered them all together, popped my focal panel up with foam tape, and added some sequins for a little extra elegance.

Head on over to the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge Blog to check out the rest of the amazing projects from the design team, and don't forget to link up your own for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate! I hope you all have an amazing day. Thanks for stopping by!

Galaxy Spinner - Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #2

Hey friends! It's time for our second Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! This time we're calling for interactive cards, because they're just so super fun! I wanted to challenge myself to do something I've never done before, so I chose a spinner card, and to make things just a little bit more interesting, I decided to try a galaxy background for the first time as well!

I started out my coloring my images from Out of This World with Copic markers and die cutting them with the matching dies. Then I created my galaxy background using Distress Inks and also a moon using the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders. I cut my spinner track out with the Slide On Over Circles and gave everything a nice stitched edge with the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables.

There are two different ways to build your penny slider mechanism and I show you both in the video. I mounted my panel with a double layer of foam tape onto a card base of Narwhal cardstock and did some additional stamping on the inside with Hippo ink. As a finishing touch, I added a sprinkling of stars using Starry Skies and some Pretty Pink Posh Mini Iridescent Star Confetti.
