Holiday Card Series #20

Hello my friends! I'm here today with the 20th and final card in my 2019 Holiday Card Series! I was saving the Hello Bluebird Merry Mice for last so I could end on a high note. This little guys are just too cute! I colored them all with Copics and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

Then I took the Treehouse Scene Die and used just the tree and a few of the accessories, since I wanted to flip my orientation and do a landscape style card, rather than the vertical orientation that the die comes as. I colored in the tree and its accessories in Antique LinenGathered Twigs, and Bundled Sage Distress Oxide Inks and the stone path in Hickory Smoke. For the Stitched Hillside Border snowdrift I used Tumbled Glass, and for the sky, Mermaid LagoonChipped Sapphire, and Black Soot. I finished up the card with some Crystal Stickles.

Holiday Card Series #19

Day 19! Can you believe it? We are nearly through my 2019 Holiday Card Series. I hope you've been enjoying it so far! The minute I saw these cute kitties from Trinity Stamps Do Re Me Ow I knew I had to have them. Their faces are just so joyful! Even though I'm more of a dog person, I have a lot of cat people in my life to send a card like this to.

I colored them with Copics and trimmed them out with the matching dies, then created a focal panel for them with a pretty bokeh print from the Lawn Fawn Snow Day Remix 6x6 pad. I die cut it with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables and added a Stitched Hillside Border snowdrift. I layered this onto more Snow Day papers trimmed down with the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables and Stitched Party Banners and finished up with some Crystal Stickles.

I hope you enjoy the video tutorial! This card was so much fun to put together! Please hit that thumbs up button and subscribe to support my channel. It means so much. I hope you all have a great weekend! Thanks for watching!

Holiday Card Series #18

It's a twofer! Day 18 of my Holiday Card Series features TWO cards using the adorable Hello Bluebird Merry Pigs combined with the sweet mouse and little cardinals from Snow Play. I colored them all with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the focal panels, I cut out MFT Wonky Stitched Circles from the Simple Stories Winter Farmhouse patterned paper and added Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Border snowdrifts. I adhered my images and popped the panel up over more of those gorgeous patterned papers. I finished off the card with some Crystal Stickles for a little subtle bling.

I really hope you enjoy the video tutorial! If you do, please be sure to hit that thumbs up button and subscribe! It truly means a lot. Thanks so much and have a wonderful day!

Holiday Card Series #17 + Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #67

Nine days left until Christmas! It's unbelievable, just like the adorable mythical creatures on my latest Lawn Fawnatics card. I have to say, this is one of my personal favorites from my entire Holiday Card Series this year. I love the idea of these guys coming together for their own little secret gift exchange.

I combined five different sets on this card, including Yeti or NotHo-Ho-HolidaysToboggan TogetherLovable Legends, and Believe in Yourself. I colored them with Copics and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I used some patterned paper from the Snow Day Remix 6x6 pad. I added snowdrifts with the Stitched Hillside Borders, and a sea with Stitched Wave Borders. The sentiment was stamped in Merman Ink. To finish things off, I added Crystal Stickles for some sparkle and shine.

Well hello! Welcome to Day 16 of my 2019 Holiday Card Series! I'm so excited to bring you this card today, because I absolutely love this Santa Bear stamp set by Avery Elle! I think this illustration is just the cutest, and it was actually the very first holiday stamp set that I purchased this year. So much fun!

I colored all my sweet woodland critters with Copics and trimmed them out with the matching dies. I framed up the scene with the Arrow Mat die and put some Echo Park My Favorite Winter patterned papers behind to make up my night sky and to cover my Speckled Eggshell card base. Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things - December

Hello friends! Can you believe that it has been a whole year already? Today I'm bringing you the last episode of Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things for 2019. I'm not sure what 2020 has in store for me yet, but I have had a wonderful year creating with the always adorable MFT products. I hope that you've enjoyed this series too! For my final project of the year, I just had to create with the super cute Birdie Brown Magical Friends stamp set.

This curly-haired girl and her pet dragon were just speaking to me! Or maybe she was reading to me. Haha! I tried to create a dreamlike, fairytale quality as I colored them in with Copics and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I used the Cloud Stencil to sponge a sky onto the Elegant Rectangle STAX Die-namics. Then I created two grassy hills with the Stitched Scalloped Basic Edges and added two trees from Trees in the Forest. I popped that up with foam tape over my Sweet Celebration papers, trimmed down with the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 adhered to a Sno Cone card base. And finished up the card with some Crystal Stickles.

I hope you enjoy the video tutorial! If you did, please be sure to hit that like button and leave me a comment and let MFT know how I did! Your support means the world. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Holiday Card Series #15

Is there anything cuter than a polar bear on ice skates? Today I'm so excited to bring you this adorable guy from Trinity Stamps Have an Ice Day for Day 15 of my 2019 Holiday Card Series! He just looks like he's found his bliss, doesn't he? I love that sweet little smile on his face. I colored him and the mug with Copics and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the focal panel, I used a pretty snowflake pattern from the Snow Much Fun 6x6 pad from Carta Bella which I die cut using the  Lawn Fawn Cross Stitched Square Stackables. For the ice, added a strip of Lawn Fawn Pearlescent Vellum which I adhered with 1/4" Double-Sided Tape and covered up with Chunky Glitter. And of course, I had to add a little Crystal Stickles to finish things off.

I hope you enjoy the video tutorial! If you do, don't forget to hit that like button and subscribe! Have an amazing day!

Holiday Card Series #14

Hello friends, happy Friday! Today I'm excited to bring you a cozy card filled with pretty patterns and cute characters. I love this adorable Snow Buddies stamp set from Birdie Brown for MFT. They were so much fun to color up with my Copic markers! And when I was done, I trimmed them out with the matching dies.

The Crate Paper Snowflake paper pad is chock full of cozy patterns! I had to use as many of them as I could since they paired so well together. I trimmed the pink down with the Stitched Mini Scallop Circle STAX to use as my focal panel, and added a snowdrift at the bottom with the Hit the Slopes Die-namics.

I used the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 on the plaid pattern, and the Lawn Fawn Stitched Party Banner to selectively die cut the bottom of the red polkadot. I adhered all the papers to the Speckled Eggshell card base and popped the focal panel up with foam tape.

I finished up the card with a Cranberry stamped sentiment and some Crystal Stickles. There's also lots of fun stamping on the inside, which you can check out in the video. Please don't forget to like and subscribe! Your support means the world. Have an amazing day!

Holiday Card Series #13 + Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #66

Hello friends! Welcome to Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #66! This round has got to be one of my favorite themes -- Holiday Critters! I chose to use the cute little penguins from Snow Cool combined with  the snowballs from Toboggan Together.

Since it was Thanksgiving week, I decided to keep this card simple by utilizing one of the cute prints from the Snow Day Remix 6x6 pad as my scene. Then all I had to do is add my cute little penguins, which I colored with Copics and trimmed out with the matching dies.

To frame up the scene, I added two Stitched Scalloped Borders trimmed out of more patterned paper to the top and bottom and stamped a sentiment in Lobster ink. As a finishing touch, I added some bling with a little Crystal Stickles.

I also finished up the inside with some stamping in Mermaid ink, which you can check out in the video. And don't forget to like and subscribe! It means the world! Did I mention this is also Day 13 of my 2019 Holiday Card Series?

And now its time to head over to the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge Blog to check out the other amazing Design Team samples! And then you can get busy creating with your own Holiday Critters to play along!

Holiday Card Series #12

Hello friends! Today I'm happy to be bringing you Day 12 of my 2019 Holiday Card Series! I'm featuring the adorable Hello Bluebird O Christmas Tree stamp set. These sweet critters decorating their Christmas tree are the cutest! I colored them all with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

Then I took the Winter Woods Overlay and die cut it out of white cardstock, then added some detail with Copics to make them look like birch trees -- my favorite! I popped that up with foam tape over a sheet of patterned paper from the Carta Bella Snow Much Fun 6x6 pad to create my night sky. Then I adhered my images with more foam tape and liquid glue.

To finish up the card, I adhered it to a Mermaid card base, added a Chili Pepper sentiment using the Lawn Fawn Simple Wavy Banners, and added -- you guessed it! -- Crystal Stickles!

25 Days of Christmas Tags + Holiday Card Series #11

Hello friends! I'm so happy to be joining in Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags! I have been participating in this event since 2014! It's such a fun one because there is just so much incredible inspiration from so many talented card makers and so many awesome sponsored prizes from all your favorite companies!

I am representing Lawn Fawn and Lawn Fawnatics with a fun snow globe shaker tag featuring Ready, Set, SnowFairy Frosty Friends, and the fox from Critters in the Forest. I masked off my images and colored the scene in with Copic markers.

I used the Ready, Set, Snow Shaker Add-on to form the pieces of my tag and filled the inside with a mixture of Chunky Iridescent Glitter and Tiny Star Confetti. I topped it with a Twine Loop and Bow so it can be added to a gift or even hung as an ornament on the Christmas tree.

To check out how this shaker tag came together, click below or watch in HD on YouTube. This is also Day 11 of my 2019 Holiday Card Series so I really hope you enjoy it!

Holiday Card Series #9

Hi friends! Today I'm happy to bring you Card #9 in my 2019 Holiday Card Series! This time I wanted to showcase one of my favorite holiday pastimes -- baking! And the adorable Neat & Tangled Holiday Baking stamp set was perfect for that. These cute critters just make me smile!

I colored them up with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies. Then I adhered two coordinating prints of patterned paper from the Pebbles Merry Little Christmas 6x6 to my card base. Over top of that, I popped up a white panel using the Avery Elle Oval Burst die, and adhered my images with a mix of foam tape and liquid glue.

To finish the card, I added a white, heat embossed sentiment trimmed down using one of the banners from the Neat & Tangled Scalloped dies and some Crystal and Christmas Red Stickles. And of course, I also finished off the inside, which you can check out in the video. If you enjoy it, I would love for you to click that like button and leave me a comment or subscribe! Holiday Card Series #8 + Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #65

Hello friends, happy Monday! Welcome to Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #65 where we are showcasing the fun you can have with dies! For my card, I decided to make a follow up to my last video in my Holiday Card Series, where Santa was off delivering gifts on his snowboard. This card is all about Mrs. Claus! While her hubby is away, she's doing what she does best -- feeding the troops after a job well done!

I combined images from a bunch of sets, including Ho-Ho-HolidaysHoliday HelpersChristmas Dreams, Toboggan Together and Forest Feast. I colored them all with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

I decided it would be fun to showcase the scene comic book style, using the Peekaboo Backdrop to frame it up into sections. I die cut it three times out of Narwhal cardstock and layered them up to give them a little more depth, and adhered it over a piece of Snow Day Remix patterned paper. Then I added a floor using Dolphin cardstock and adhered my images to their respective windows.

I finished up the card with a white heat embossed sentiment on a Chili Pepper Everyday Sentiments Banner and a little Crystal Stickles for some sparkle and shine. I also stamped on the inside, which you can check out in the video. If you enjoy it, please consider hitting that like button or subscribing to my channel!

And now its time to head over to the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge Blog and check out the other amazing design team creations. And then you can bust out your favorite dies to play along!
