Frosty and Friends - Card #2 of my 2015 Holiday Series

Hey friends! If today's card looks a little familiar, that's because I made a very similar one for the current Lawnscaping Challenge on Monday. People seemed to really enjoy it and I even had a request for a video, so I decided to film it for Card #2 in my 2015 Holiday Card Series.

Fleece Naivdad - A Very Fawny Holiday Week!

Thanks for sticking with me this week, friends! Have you been enjoying all the projects for A Very Fawny Holiday Week as much as I have? I mean, I've got icy cold toes after all the times my socks have been knocked off! Haha!

For my final project of the week, I once again featured Baaah Humbug, but instead of the peaceful, serene pasture scene I shared with you on Wednesday, this time I wanted to go as warm and cozy as I could think of.

My first idea was to pair it with Cozy Christmas and the flames from Love You Smore. To give my mantle a little holiday motif, I added the snowman from Winter Gifts and the trees and deer from Ready Set Snow. I wanted my sentiment to look a cross stitch sampler, so I added a frame from Flirty Frames around it. And to continue that framed look, I used the Stitched Rectangle Stackables and Scalloped Rectangle Stackables dies.

I hope you enjoyed all three projects I had featured at A Very Fawny Holiday Week! If you haven't checked out all the other incredible inspiration to be had, please visit the Lawn Fawn blog to do so.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Calm & Bright - A Very Fawny Holiday Week!

Welcome back, friends, to A Very Fawny Holiday Week! Can you believe we're already halfway through? So much jaw-dropping inspiration. For today's card, I featured the hilariously-named Baaah Humbug, a set that I just can't seem to put away, as you'll discover with my project for Friday. This set is just so versatile.

On this card, I was envisioning a peaceful pasture scene, as it might have been on the very first Christmas. I used another Brusho background (can you tell I'm addicted to the stuff?) and some simple shading to make my sheep and Stitched Hillside Borders stand out. I paired it with an embossed sentiment from Snowy Backdrops. To be honest, this is the card I pictured in my mind the instant I saw that sentiment when it was sneak peeked, so it was super fun to finally be able bring it to fruition. A little gold stickles and this simple, serene card was done.

I hope you'll stop by again on Friday to check out my last project to be featured in the Very Fawny Holiday Week, but check out the Lawn Fawn blog every day for the rest of the girls amazing samples that are sure blow you away!

For my card, I pulled out the adorable Making Frosty Friends stamps and dies, as well as the Stitched Journaling Card die that I had to force myself to stop using because for a while it was featured on every card! Lol. Also, I broke out my Stickles, which I haven't used in so long and now can't remember why. They're awesome! I hope you like it.

25 Days of Christmas Tags - feat. Lawn Fawn

Good morning, friends! Today I am super excited to be participating in the 25 Days of Christmas Tags with Tracey McNeely! Tracey puts together this awesome blog hop event every year and it's always so incredibly inspirational. Today she is featuring Lawn Fawn, and us girls at Lawnscaping Challenges were thrilled to join in the fun.

For my tag, I decided to make a santa sheep. :) So I first stamped the tag from Winter Gifts and die cut it with the Tag You're It die. Then I drew in a rooftop and chimney with a ruler and a Tuxedo Black Memento marker, then colored everything in, including my sky, with Copics. I stamped and colored my images from Baaah Humbug and finished it off with ribbon and twine and a few Studio Calico wood veneer stars.

I hope you enjoyed my contribution to this spectacular event! Please check out the rest of the incredible Lawn Fawn tags at Tracey's blog, and don't forget to go back and look at any other days you may have missed!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Sending Hedgehugs - Lawnscaping Challenge #117

Hello Friends! Happy November! I'm back at my old house to do a quick blog post because WE MOVED IN TO OUR NEW HOUSE THIS WEEKEND! Yay! But we don't have internet there yet, so I brought my laptop back with me while we stopped by today to clean up after ourselves. What a lot of mess moving makes! Or at least reveals, once all the furniture is moved out. Yuck.

But anyway, we had our first sleepover at the new house last night and it was so peaceful. We met some of our new neighbors while they were out trick-or-treating and it was just really nice to finally be settled in. Still lots to unpack and organize, but we'll get to it all eventually.

Anyway, on to today's challenge! This round at Lawnscaping is all about Thinking of You cards and projects.

For my card I used the adorable Lawn Fawn Sending Hedgehugs and Sweater Weather stamps set to create my little fall leaves scene. I stamped my leaves using Memento Luxe inks and colored my hedgies with Copic markers.

Special thanks to Ellen Hutson, LLC for sponsoring our challenge with a generous $25 gift certificate to her store!

Please stop by the Lawnscaping Challenge blog and check out the other amazing design team samples and don't forget to link up your projects and play along!

Have a wonderful day!
