Mother's Day Garden Card - Lawn Fawnatics #219

Hey friends! Today I've got a Mother's Day card to share for our latest Lawn Fawnatics Challenge: Family Matters! This round, we're creating cards to honor moms, dads, or any other loved ones that you call family. I wanted to create a fun Springtime scene, so I pulled together images from Garden MouseSpring Basket, and All the Grasses.

I colored the images with Copic markers to match some patterned paper from the Bitsy Blooms 6x6 pack and trimmed them out with the matching dies. I pulled in two prints from that pad and another from Blissful Blossoms and layered those together on a Mist card base.

I die-cut the focal panel from Bristol using the Secret Garden Window and blended on the sky and grass using the Cloudy Stencil and the Slimline Grassy Stencil. I stamped a sentiment from Mom Plus Me, popped the panel up with Foam Tape, and then adhered my images with liquid glue. To finish it off, I added a sprinkle of sequins and some Stardust Stickles.

Six Ways to Color Butterflies

Hey friends! Today I've got another installment in my Ways to Color Critters Series. This time it's six ways to color butterflies, using the adorable, new I Like Big Butterflies stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I've stamped the images in Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink on Catherine Pooler Favorite White Cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. Butterfly Bookmarks - Lawn Fawnatics #218

Hey friends, it's time for a new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge and this time we're taking a step outside the box and creating Anything but a Card or Tag. Any other type of papercraft project you can dream up, you can create! As a big reader, I am always in need of bookmarks, so that's what I decided to make today.

The inspiration for these bookmarks started with the Little Woodland Library Add-onsentiment. I love that line from the Reading Rainbow theme song. I was a huge fan of that show as a kid! So I brought in images from lots of stamp sets, including: I Like Big ButterfliesGleeful GardensFairy FriendsLittle Woodland LibraryPurrfectly WickedHere for You Bear, and All the Grasses. I colored them all with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

I used the Stitched Bookmark to cut the shape out of some Bristol Cardstock. Then, I added a background to it using the Cloudy Stencil and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink. For the bottom I used the Slimline Grassy Stencil and Mowed Lawn. I glued my images flat and made sure nothing was hanging over the edges so it wouldn't get bent up over time. I finished it off with a bit of Aquamarine Single Cord,
