Cherry On Top Card - Jessica's 10K Subscriber Video Hop!

Hey friends! Today I'm so excited to be celebrating with my friend Jessica Frost-Ballas for hitting 10K subscribers on her YouTube channel! I'm sure this is only the beginning, since she is an amazingly talented crafter with her own gorgeous sense of style. To share in her joy, Jessica has put together a video hop with a few of her crafty friends, and she has over $800 in prizes up for grabs, so be sure to subscribe to any of the channels you love and leave a comment at each stop along the hop for your best chance to win.

For my card, I used the adorable Mice Day to Celebrate stamp set by Birdie Brown for MFT. I colored the images with my Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies. I set them on a backdrop of patterned paper from the Simple Stories Magical Birthday 6x8 pad, die cut with the MFT A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2. I'll have all other supplies and details showcased in the video and also linked in the description bar below the video.

To watch the video, you can click below or view here on YouTube. And don't forget to like and subscribe!

The next stop on the hop is Daniel West! And if you get lost along the way, or just want to go back to the beginning, you can start at Jessica's video. Leave your comments by April 8th at 11:59PM ET for a chance to win a prize from one of the following sponsors. Winners will be announced on Jessica's channel on April 9th! Happy hopping!

Hello Easter Card

Hey friends, today I've got a sweet Easter card to share with you using Hello Bluebird's Little Painters and the butterflies from Meadow Bunnies. Aren't these cuties just so darling? I stamped my images in Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink, colored them with my Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

I chose my color palette to match my patterned papers from the Simple Stories Magical Birthday 6x8 pad. Then I chose two of those prints to layer onto a Lawn Fawn Ballet Slippers card base. For the focal panel, I cut down a piece of Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock with the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables, and watercolored a background with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. Then I adhered my images with liquid glue, popped the focal panel up with foam tape, and finished things off with some Glossy Accents and Stardust Stickles.

My Copic Favorites: Jungle & Safari Critters Part 1

Hey friends, welcome back! Today I've got another installment in my Copic Favorites Series, where I share my favorite color combos for different kinds of images. This time I'm doing Jungle and Safari Critters, using the Avery Elle stamp set, A Head Above. I will have all the color combos shown in the video tutorial, so check that out if you're interested in what my personal favorites are. After I colored the images, I trimmed them out with the matching dies.

To assemble the card, I die cut some Simple Stories Birthday Blast 6x8 patterned paper with the Sunny Studio Slimline Scalloped Frame and Slimline Basic Borders. I die cut some white cardstock with the scalloped frame and mounted it all to a Lawn Fawn Blue Jay slimline card base. Then I adhered my images with liquid glue, and finished it off with a Speech Bubbles sentiment and a bit of Stardust Stickles.

I also finished off the inside, which you can check out in the video as well. I hope you enjoy it! If you do, please consider hitting that like button and subscribing to my channel. It helps more than you know! Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Birthday Balloon Ride Card

Hey friends! Happy Friday. Today I'm excited to share a colorful card featuring Sunny Studio Balloon Rides. This set is so fun to use because there's lots of different critters to swap out of the basket and a whole bunch of sentiments in different themes. I chose the koala, because I love his sweet little face. I colored all the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I took a sheet of patterned paper from the Classic Sunburst 6x6 pack, and trimmed that down with the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables. Then I used the Lawn Fawn Puffy Cloud Borders to cut down some Noble Fir Cardstock for distant bushes and trees, and some Cilantro Cardstock with the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders for the grass. I borrowed a sentiment from Party Pups, since I needed a birthday card, and stamped that in Noble Fir Ink.

To pull in my rainbow color palette, I trimmed down some patterned paper from the Simple Stories Surprise Party 6x6 with the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables. Then I popped up my focal panel with foam tape and adhered my images with liquid glue, and finished off with a little Stardust Stickles.

Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things - March

Hey friends, I'm back today with the March edition of Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things! And even though it's St. Patrick's day, I'm thinking ahead to Easter with this adorable new set from Birdie Brown, Spring Gnomes. Aren't these guys just too cute decked out in their bunny ears? I just love it! I colored the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I used the Rolling Clouds Stencil to sponge some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink onto a panel of Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock for the sky. Then I took a new panel and blended on Bundled Sage and Mowed Lawn, and die cut that with the Tucked-In Turf Vertical Die-namics, and trimmed down both panels with the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2. I stamped a sentiment at the top in Versafine Onyx Black Ink.

To assemble the card, I used a Sno Cone card base and layered over top of that a piece of Party Plaid 6x6 patterned paper. Then I popped the focal panel up with foam tape. I adhered my images to look like our friendly gnomes are having an Easter egg hunt, and then finished off the card with a bit of Crystal Stickles.

Goldilocks & the 3 Bears Card - Lawn Fawnatics #97

Hello and welcome to another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! This round our inspiration is a book, movie, or song! This one is always so fun to see what everyone comes up with. I chose to depict the story of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears, and I pulled in a whole bunch of sets to achieve it, including Den Sweet DenSnow Much FunBicycle Built for YouForest FeastA Creature Was StirringUnicorn PicnicFor You, Deer, and Butterfly Kisses. Whew! I told you it was a lot!

I colored my images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies. I also altered the little bowl from a mug image, and added the "porridge" from the medium bowl into the largest bowl by adding a little slit with a craft knife. It's a lot easier to show you than to explain it, so I of course have a video tutorial for you!

I used my Mermaid card base as the sky, and layered on top of that a Noble Fir Puffy Cloud Border for the bushes, and a Cilantro Simple Stitched Hillside Border for the grass. I added my tree stump with foam tape, and adhered the rest of my images all around it. I finished the card with a Spring Showers cloud and a sentiment, plus a trio of butterflies.

The Best Yet Card

Hey friends, today I wanted to share a sweet scene with you using the Fairy-Tale Friendship stamp set by Rachelle Anne Miller for MFT. I fell in love with these adorable critters sharing stories the minute I saw it, and I was so excited to color it up with my Copic markers. I share all the shades I used in the video, so feel free to color along with me!

When the coloring was done, I trimmed down the panel with one of the A2 Stitched Rectangles STAX Set 2, and I also trimmed down a piece of Party Plaid patterned paper. I glued that to a Lawn Fawn Sticky Note card base. Then I popped up the focal panel with foam tape, and finished things off with some Stardust Stickles.

I also did some stamping on the inside of the card, and you can check that out in the video as well. If you enjoy it, please hit the like button and subscribe to my channel. It helps so much! Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Happy Birthday, Matey - Lawn Fawnatics #96

Hello and welcome to another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! This round is one of my all-time favorite themes -- Birthday! That's right, we're making birthday cards! I personally love all things pirates, so I decided to pull out Ahoy, Matey, plus the little cake from Party Animal. I stamped all my images in Jet Black Ink, colored them with Copics, and trimmed them out with their matching dies.

For the background I started with a piece of Mermaid Cardstock die cut with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I stamped my sentiment and adhered that to a Fake Tan card base. On top of that I layered a Stitched Wave Border in Blue Jay, and then Peacock, and a Stitched Hillside Border in Kraft as the sand. Then all that was left was to set the scene with my images.
