Handmade with Love - Newton's Nook Inky Paws Challenge

Happy Friday! Today I'm here to share my last post as the April guest designer with Newton's Nook. It's been such a fun ride! Today is the kickoff of the Inky Paws Challenge #31: Sketch. This one is super easy to replicate and I can't wait to see what you all come up with for it!

For my card I used the Tag Sampler Stamp Set and the bee trail from Winston's Honeybees and die cut it with the Tags Times Two Dies. I added some gorgeous patterned paper from the Echo Park Homegrown 6x6 pad and a little May Arts natural button twine and that was it! This one is definitely easy peasy, so you have no excuse not to play along!

Head on over to the Newton's Nook blog to check out the design team's amazing samples and find out all the details on how to play along.

Enjoy your weekend!

Made For You - Newton's Nook April Release Day 2

Good morning friends! I'm back again with day 2 of guest designing with Newton's Nook for their April release! Today we are introducing the Tag Sampler stamp set, which coordinates perfectly with their Tags Times Two Die Set.

I know many of us are crafters in other ways besides card making, whether it be knitting, crocheting, baking, etc, and this set is just perfect for all those handmade gifts! Christmas, birthdays, teacher gifts, whatever the occasion, the Tag Sampler has got you covered.

I stamped out my tag and sentiment in different colors and then die cut it out and layered it over an additional die cut tag for a pop of color and fun. I added some natural button twine, and tied it on to a cute container full of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, and viola! An instant, adorable gift that anyone would be crazy not to love!

Hello Honey - Newton's Nook April Release

Hey friends! Today I am here with a really special post because I am thrilled to announce that I am guest designing with Newton's Nook for the month of April! Today we are showcasing Winston's Honeybees, a brand new stamp set in a brand new 4'x4' size. It features their lovable bear Winston holding a honey pot, and all the little details you need to make a super sweet little scene.

I colored my images with Copics, and layered my focal panel with foam tape on top of some pretty patterned papers from the Garden Party 6x6 pad from Pebbles. Check it out in the video below. What's Kraken? - Lawnscaping Challenge #128

Hey friends, happy Monday! It's time for another Lawnscaping Challenge. If you're like me, sometimes the most difficult part of a card design is coming up with a good layout. Well, this time we've taken the guesswork away with our simple Sketch Challenge! So easy to follow.

I was dying to use this kraken from Lawn Fawn's Lovable Legends so I colored him with my Copics and created a fun scene with him using the Stitched Party Banners die in place of the rectangle.

Check out the video for all the details. Click on the YouTube icon at the bottom right to watch it there in HD and please don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe. Every bit helps!

We want to thank the lovely folks at Lawn Fawn for sponsoring us with a FREE stamp set of the winner's choice. Awesome!

Please head on over to the Lawnscaping Challenge blog to check out the other amazing design team samples and don't forget to link up your projects using our sketch to play along!

Have an awesome day!

Birdbath Bliss - Lawnscaping Challenge #127

Hey friends! Just in time for Spring, our next Lawnscaping Challenge is all about beautiful florals! For my card I wanted to create a peaceful garden scene centered around a birdbath. I used Lawn Fawn's Fairy FriendsGleeful Gardens, and Gnome Sweet Gnome, and colored all my images with Copics.

No video today, as I've got friends visiting from Germany. Sorry! But I hope to be back to filming soon.

Please head on over to the Lawnscaping Challenge blog and check out the other amazing design team creations. And don't forget to link up your own beautiful floral projects and play along! There's a generous $25 gift certificate from Ellen Hutson, LLC up for grabs!

Have a great day!
