Craft Room Quick Tour Video

Hi there!
I'm so sorry I've been mostly absent this week.
It's been a crazy deadline couple of days
and I just haven't had much time to even get online,
let alone create.

Anyway, I'd been wanting to do another video,
and since I haven't had time to craft,
I thought it might be fun to just do a quick tour
of my office/craft room/spare bedroom.

I don't know if you're like me,
but I always love peeking into people's crafty spaces.

I finally got this on the third take,
while my battery was blinking red,
so in my rush, I forgot to mention three things:

I store my Martha Stewart scoreboard,
my Fiskars paper trimmer, and stamp press
on the bottom shelf of the Cropper Hopper file system.

I keep folded cardstock,
(when I make one card, I fold the other half and save it for later)
envelopes, and finished cards in the three
brown CD cases on my bookshelf.

I keep punches in a bin inside
the bottom cupboard of the bookshelf.

Other than that, everything else is in there!
Enjoy!

  2. Very cool video! Everything is so neat and tidy! Hopefully I can get mine up soon. LoL... Even though I don't have a full room for my stuff. But I like looking at other people's spaces too.

  4. Awesome craft room, Christy! I'm ooogling that Lawn Fawn collection, heehee! Girl, you are incredibly organized! I HAVE to ask, where did you get those large hanging folders? Are they 13x13? I have 2 large hanging files and cannot find large folders for the anywhere. They are just taking up space and making me frustrated! I am trying to get my room cleaned and organized enough to take some photos. It's a process! Lol! Thanks for sharing your space! :)

  7. Thank you so much for your video, you are so organized :) You now have me thinking about using my antique desk so that I can close it when we have guests, since I also use are guest room as my craft room. Hmm...what are the folders you use for your printed paper and the cart they are in, do they hold 12x12 or just
8 1/2 x 11, I need to get my printed paper organized instead of stacked on top of each other. Have a great weekend.

  8. That was a fun tour...the room is beautiful and you're so organized!

It's also fun to see that paper crafter's are just like fabric sewers...they have lots of stuff too. =) I've recently cut down my stash, but I still have lots lined up and waiting to be used. =)

Thanks for the video. =) Can't wait to read your guest feature on Ash's blog this week!
