Top o' the marnin' to ya!
I just wanted to pop in and wish you all
a happy St. Patty's day!
Are you wearing green?
I am! And shamrock socks. :o)
Anyway, I have to run to work,
but I wanted to quickly share a card I made
last weekend when I was in a creative flow.
It's not a St. Patrick's day card,
but I hope you'll like it anyway.
I made my background panel with lots
of strips of patterned paper, inspired by
and the little flower embellishments
by cutting them out of patterned paper
and adhering them with pop dots.
Have a great day!
Supplies:
cardstock: Bazzill
paper: My Mind's Eye Stella & Rose "Hattie" 6x6 pad
stamp: Lawn Fawn
stamp: Lawn Fawn
ink: Jenni Bowlin "Spice Tin", Ranger Distress "Vintage Photo

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! This is so pretty! I love those flower stamps (they are stamps right?) And the distressing, and stitching...I love it all! Great card Christy! I should use it as inspiration to break out of my cutesy card box. I realized recently that I need to expand my style some. :)

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely fabulous!!! Your blog is cuteness heaven to me. *sigh* it's like therapy, I tell ya. This card brings pure joy... and those flowers... how pretty are they?!
ReplyDeleteGreat card, love the flowers. I am wearing green too along with my leprechaun socks!
ReplyDeleteADORABLE! I love your mix of papers and the sentiment is so sweet! The "stitching" sround the border is the perfect accent, too! Very pretty! :)
ReplyDeleteThe card is adorable! I'm so curious...what do you do with all the beautiful cards you make...do you sell them? use them for yourself? I know you make them for charity...wow...I really love to stop by and look at your work. Thanks for sharing! =)
ReplyDeleteThis card is fabulous! Love everything about it.
ReplyDeleteHey you mentioned on my blog you had a question about how I did my background? I'm not sure if you meant the background on my card or the photo setting. Shoot me an email, and I'm happy to give you the scoop :)
Anita, I usually find a charity to send them to, like Cards for Kids, or Cards for St. Jude's. I'm looking for another right now, because the cards are starting to pile up!
ReplyDeleteI've also been thinking about reopening my Etsy store. I just may do that.
Great color choices. I'm your newest follower!
