Mother's Day Card and Handpainted Pottery

Hello, lovely ladies!
Today I wanted to wish all you mothers,
daughters, sisters, and friends a very special Mother's Day!
I hope you're spending it with someone you love
and who will treat you as special as you deserve.

I made this card using a couple of stamp sets from Crafter's Companion,
which is one of those flowers that you could stamp
a whole bunch of and color and color -- so fun!
I chose to do this one in shades of yellow with my
and stamped my sentiment from Party Paws "Bamboo".

I also wanted to share with you the pottery bowl I hand painted
for my step-mother as her Mother's Day gift.
I went to a wonderful local place called Claytopia
and picked out a large bisque mixing bowl and covered it
with bright yellow flowers to match her kitchen.

Here's the result:

The rim is a dark green, not black as it looks in the pictures.

I didn't want to give it to her empty so I filled it
with a dozen or so oranges.

I hope she likes it!

Have a wonderful day, everyone!
