Bamboo For You - Gift Card Holder

Hello friends! Today I have a different project for you all. I was in the mood to make something other than a card, but I had no idea what. Searching around my craft room for inspiration, I came across a little wallet-style pop up gift card holder that my cousin Ashley made me a few years ago. I had no idea how she had made it, but I was suddenly determined to figure it out. ;)

After much trial and error (and wasted paper, I'm afraid) I finally got it. Since it was late at night and definitely a learning process, I did not film a video, but I also did not want to share this project until I knew a video would be forthcoming. Today I was able to film and edit that footage so you should have a tutorial by tomorrow morning. :) In the meantime, here's a look at the inside.

For my focal image, I used Party Paws "Flowers From Bamboo" colored in with my Spectrum Noirs in shades BG1, BG8, BG9, EB6, BP2, PL3, LY2, LY3, and BT1. I die cut it with the new Die'sire Essentials Ovals and Scalloped Ovals available at Crafter's Companion.

And by the way, here's my inspiration from my cousin Ashley, who is an awesome paper crafter.

Stay tuned for the video tomorrow!
