Hello there!
Welcome to Lawnscaping Challenge #43!
Our challenge is being graciously sponsored by
the wonderful Simon Says Stamp who have offered up
a $25 gift certificate to the winner.
Here's my card:
I wanted to use lots of texture,
so on top of my MME paper I layered a bit of
May Arts lace, tore a sheet of cardboard
down to the core and dabbed on some gesso
with my finger, wrapped May Arts twine
around two Studio Calico wood veneer butterflies,
and finished it off with a sentiment
from Lawn Fawn's Fly Free.
I hope you like it!
Please stop by the Lawnscaping blog
and check out the other amazing DT projects,
including our fabulous guest designer,
the lovely, talented, fellow-nutella-on-english-muffins-lover,
So excited to have her with us!
Also, don't forget to check out the deets
on how to enter. We'd love for you to play along.
Have an awesomely crafty day!
You said I used a lot of texture! Girl, you killed it! Love your project! So much more than a card!
ReplyDeleteVery cool! I like how textured it is, it makes it more interesting.
ReplyDeleteLove all the texture on this card!
ReplyDeleteBut wait! Is there actually a person out there who DOESN'T like nutella on an english muffin? I don't think I want to know that person!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the cardboard texture - the gesso just MAKES it pop! - and the veneer butterflies & lace are totally gorgeous :)
