Lawnscaping Fall Blog Hop

Hello!

We have such an exciting hop planned for you!
There's sponsors and prizes and SO MUCH inspiration
to be gleaned from all the lovely, crafty ladies involved.
If you're just stopping in, be sure to pop over to the
Lawnscaping blog where it all begins.
Leave a comment at every stop for a chance to win!
Also, if you get lost anywhere along the way,
head back over there for the full list of participants.
The hop will run from this morning, October 5th at 8AM
through Sunday, October 7th at 11:59 PM.

If you're hopping along in order, you should have come
from the lovely Lauren --
isn't her blog design completely fabulous?

Here's my card:

I LOVE pumpkins, so of course I had to try
to recreate that fabulous pumpkin pile.
When I think of Fall, I think of texture,
warm, nubby sweaters and woolen tights,
so I tried to incorporate a variety of fabrics and patterns
including burlap, canvas, polkadots, woodgrain and chevron.

Hope you like it!

Now you're off to the adorable Aimee
who I just KNOW will have a totally amazing
project to share -- she always does!

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Happy hopping!

  28. Do we call this fabric-piecing, then?

The whitish pumpkins kinda freak me out. Now, real-life pumpkins can certainly be white (especially if you keep the fruit in the dark, I think), but somehow white pumpkins always seem unnatural.

That's really more about my pumpkiny prejudices than your lovely card, though! I do really like all the textures.
