Hi! So today I'm back with card #2 in my 2017 Valentine Series benefitting the Cards From The Heart Card Drive which collects valentines to send to the kids at St. Jude's Children's Hospital, among others. Today I wanted to show you how you might create valentines using regular patterned paper. It definitely does have a more subtle look, but I bet if you search through your stash, you'll end up with a lot of patterns that might work. So there's no excuse not to help create cards for this awesome cause! ;) It's all for the kids, isn't it?
I used Lawn Fawn's Hedgehugs stamp set to set my scene and colored these cute little guys with Copic markers. All colors and other supplies are shown in the video with links in the description bar below. Click on the YouTube icon at the bottom right corner to watch it there in HD and please don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe! I so appreciate it!
Just watched the video. Btw, I really like your videos-you are succinct, and explain your process well! Great card, and really like the finish of the inside. I need to do that more.
ReplyDeleteGeez, I'm glad you cleared up the glitter thing. I thought I read no glitter of any type! For my patterned paper, I used lots of colors and not just pink since the cards are going to both boys and girls. Your card is adorable and I love that stamp set!
