Hey friends! Welcome to Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #46! This round we've got a gorgeous color inspiration for you to use. I thought this dreamy color palette lent itself well to fairy tales, so I started by using Critters Ever After combined with Fairy Friends. Because I wanted to make a birthday card, I also added a small cake from Beam Me Up.
After coloring my images with Copics and trimming them out with the matching dies, it was time to work on my background. I wanted to do sort of a gradient effect with the color radiating out from behind the castle. So I blended Distress Inks on the upper half of my focal panel from the lower left to the upper right, getting softer as I went. Then I flicked on some gold flecks with the Nuvo Midas Touch Aqua Shimmer Pen
I covered the bottom half of the panel with three layers of the Puffy Cloud Borders, and added my images. Instead of covering up that background with a banner, I decided to stamp my sentiment directly on the focal panel. Thank goodness for the MISTI! I finished up the card with a sprinkle of Iridescent Mini Stars.
