Hey friends! I'm so happy to be featured over on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge Blog today with this sweet unicorn card. I created it for our current Sketch Challenge, but I reimagined the sketch in a few different ways. I'm sharing some of my tips and walking you through the whole process in my post over there, so I hope you'll go check it out!

Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things - April

Hey friends! I'm so happy to be back for another edition of Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things! This month I fell in love with the adorable animal selfies from the new Birdie Brown set, Picture Perfect. There were so many cute ones to choose from, but I decided to pair up the jungle critters.

I colored my images starting with the background using a dot technique to look like there was more jungle foliage just out of focus. Then I colored my monkeys in warm browns and the sloth in cool browns for some contrast. The Selfie Square Die-namics perfectly trims them out.

I die cut two Polaroid Shaker Frame Die-namics out of Blu Raspberry cardstock and used the #Captions Die-namics to add my sentiments. I popped out the letters and replaced them with new ones in Grout Gray.

I took a standard A2 sized Sour Apple card base and stamped over the surface with the All Lined Up Background in coordinating green ink. Then I layered my polaroids so that they were overlapping slightly.

To finish up the card, I "hung" my animal selfies from the Tree Branch Die-namics, and added leaves in various sizes to both the branches and also one to each frame down near the sentiments.

Dino-mite Birthday - Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #51

Hey friends! Welcome to Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #51! Today we've got an awesome sketch for you to try! I personally love using card sketches as inspiration for new designs and layouts for cards. On this card I'm featuring the adorable Rawrsome stamp set. Too cute!

I colored my images with Copics and trimmed them out with the matching dies. For my focal panel I used a Stitched Circle Stackable with a Grassy Border on the lower half. I added two clouds from Spring Showers to complete the scene.

For the background I took a piece of Narwhal cardstock and layed long, thin strips of colored cardstock diagonally across the panel. Then I trimmed it down with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I popped my focal panel over top with foam tape and finished off the card with a greeting on an Everyday Sentiment Banner stamped in Hippo ink.

Choco Bunny - Lawn Fawnatics #50

Hey friends! Today I'm sharing my card for the latest Lawn Fawnatics Challenge: Fun with Food. Unfortunately, that's all I'm sharing at the moment, as I have been sick in bed with a nasty case of the flu since last Wednesday. I will be back soon with card details. The video will take a few days longer, as I have been unable to record the voiceover due to all the coughing/strained voice. I'll get it up as soon as I can. Be well, all. Hugs.
