Scare Up Some Fun Card

Hello friends, and happy Monday! Today seemed like a good time to share another Halloween card, using the adorable Hello Bluebird Boo Crew stamped set. These cute kiddos are just so much fun to color! I used my Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies. Then I die cut the Spooky Scene out of some Storm Cloud Cardstock.

For the background, I blended Distress Inks to create my sky, starting with Speckled Eggshell in the center, then Shaded Lilac, and a bit of Dusty Concord on the outside edges. Then I took the moon from Full Moon and blended it with Squeezed Lemonade and Antique Linen. I also added a Mermaid Cardstock frame. I stamped my sentiment on the moon, adhered my images, and finished with a bit of Stardust Stickles.

Happy Haunting Card

Hey friends, today I'm back with another Halloween Card, this time using the super cute Hello Bluebird Good Fright stamp set, along with a few accessory images from Boo Crew. I colored all the images in with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies. Then I cut the Full Moon scene die out of some Black Licorice Cardstock.

To create my sky, I blended Distress Oxide Inks onto some Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock, using Cracked PistachioEvergreen Bough, and Pine Needles for my minty green sky, and Hickory Smoke to add a little shading to the moon. I layered everything together, stamped my sentiment on the moon, and finished with a bit of Stardust Stickles.

Leaf-Lovin' Cats Card - Lawn Fawnatics #110

Hello and welcome to another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! This time we've got an inspiration photo with the theme Spectacular Skies. For my card, I combined the sweet kitties from the new Purrfectly Wicked stamp set, along with images from Jump for Joy and A Bug Deal. For the background, I used the Cloudy Stencil to blend some Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink onto a piece of Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock for the sky, then used Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn on a Simple Stitched Hillside Border for the ground. I added some gold splatters with the Gansai Tambi Starry Colors and stamped my sentiment in Noble Fir Ink.

On my Mermaid card base, I layered some Sweater Weather Remix patterned paper that I die cut with the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables. Then I popped up my focal panel with Foam Tape, added all my images, and finished with a bit of Platinum Stickles.

I wanted the sky to look like a sunrise, so from the top down, I used Spun SugarCarved Pumpkin, and Squeezed Lemonade. Then cut out two Grassy Knolls and used Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn. I popped my tree and my images up with foam tape and finished with a speech bubble sentiment.

Hey Bouquet Card

Hey friends, today I've got a super sweet card to share using the Hello Bluebird Bouquet Buddies stamp set. These little pets are so darn cute with their giant bouquet! I colored the cat and dog with Copic markers, and then did some layered stamping for the flowers. I used Lawn Fawn inks, including Freshly Cut Grass and Noble Fir for the stems and leaves, Peachy KeenWild Rose, and Pumpkin Spice for the pink flowers, Moonstone and Forget-Me-Not for the blue, and Butter and Sunflower, for the yellow. Then I trimmed everything out with the matching dies.

The background I die cut from Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock with the Nesting A7s, and blended on some Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink and splattered on some Faded Jeans and Starry Colors. I added a layer of Moonstone Cardstock behind, and also die cut my sentiment out of it with the Knightly LC Large Alpha. Then I popped the focal panel up with foam tape onto a Ballet Slippers A2 standard-size card base. I finished with some Sparkling Clear Sequins and filled their centers with Platinum Stickles.

Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things - September

Hey friends, today I'm back with the September edition of Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things! This one is also my first holiday card of the year. I just could not resist the adorable barnyard critters in Stacey Yacula's Christmas Carols! I used the Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangle STAX for my focal panel, and used the Drifts & Hills Stencil to mask off the bottom, then blended on Distress Oxides for the sky in Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers. Then I trimmed down a piece of the Cheerful Plaid 6x6 paper with the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 and added that to an Amarena Cherry card base and popped the focal panel up in the center. Mice Birthday Pop-Up - Lawn Fawnatics #107

Hey friends, welcome to another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! This round is all about 3D cards, so I created a pop up kitchen using the Scalloped Box Card Pop-up and some White Woodgrain Cardstock. I cut off the front flap and added two rectangles to be my doors, and the doorknob from Acorn House for the pulls. For the countertops I used Black Licorice Cardstock, and patterned paper for the back splash.

Then I filled my kitchen scene with the mice from A Creature Was Stirring, and additional images from Baked With Love. I colored them all with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies. As a finishing touch, I added a White Heat Embossed sentiment from Critters from the Past.
