Strawberry Fields Card

Hey friends! I hope you're all staying safe and healthy! Today I've got another cute card for you, to hopefully serve as a happy distraction from all the craziness that's going on. I'm featuring the adorable Field Mice from Hello Bluebird. I've been wanting to get to these cute critters for a while now, so I'm excited that today is the day! I colored them with Copics and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the focal panel, I cut down some patterned paper with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Journaling Card and the grass with the Stitched Hillside Borders. I stamped a sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and adhered my images with liquid glue. Then I cut down more patterned paper with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables and glued it to my Guava card base and popped up my focal panel with foam tape.

Springtime Birthday

Hey friends, I'm here today to cheer you up with a sweet card featuring the Springtime stamp set from Hello Bluebird, in combination with Pig Day and Greetings Bear. I colored all these cuties and their accessories with Copics and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

I stamped my sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black Ink directly onto my MFT Sno Cone card base, then die cut the Gallery Frames #2 out of white cardstock, and popped up the outer piece with foam tape to frame my scene. Then I die cut a piece of MFT's Sour Apple and Lawn Fawn's Noble Fir cardstock with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders and added those for the grass. I adhered my images with a mixture of liquid glue and foam tape and added in two Spring Showers clouds to finish things off.

Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things - March

Hello friends! Today I'm so happy to be over on the MFT YouTube channel with the March episode of Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things! I fell in love with the new Birdie Brown Unicorns and Glitter and let's be honest, we could all use a little sunshine and  rainbows and happiness right now. I colored up one of the girls and the kitty and a few accessory images with Copics and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the focal panel, I used the Cloud Stencil and some Distress Ink to create a cloudy background for my images to live on. I stamped a sentiment with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and trimmed off the left side with the Stitched Scalloped Basic Edges 2 Die-namics.

I adhered a strip of Party Patterns 6x6 paper down the left side of the Sno Cone card base and popped the focal panel up with foam tape. Then I finished off with a sprinkle of Sparkling Clear Sequins and filled in the holes with Crystal Stickles.

I do hope this card brings a smile to your face today! To see how it came together, click below or watch on the MFT YouTube channel! And don't forget to like and subscribe! They have so much inspiration to offer!

Uplifting Birthday - Lawn Fawnatics #73

Hey friends! Today we're bringing you a brand-new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge, and it's a special one, because it's Lawn Fawn's birthday! It's their TENTH birthday, to be exact, and what's extra cool is that it's also my tenth year of paper crafting! I still remember when Lawn Fawn came out with their original sets and it was love at first sight for me.

For my card today, I'm featuring the absolutely adorable Really High Five. These critters have stolen my heart, just like Lawn Fawn always has! I colored these guys with my Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

To create the background, I sponged Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink onto the Cloudy Stencil, then cut a Meadow Border and sponged on Bundled Sage and Mowed Lawn and stamped my sentiment at the bottom with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. I added my critters to the scene with Foam Tape and finished off the inside with  Mermaid Ink.

1 Set 4 Ways - Episode 7 - Flower Fairies

Hello friends! Today I'm bringing back another episode of 1 Set 4 Ways, where I create four cards using one stamp set. Not only does it provide you with extra inspiration than just a single card, this series also includes tips to create card sets that could be packaged up together and given as gifts. These cards feature the adorable Flower Fairies from My Favorite Things

Since there are only three fairies in the set, I chose one of them to use twice, but with a completely different skin tone and hair, just to give you more ideas on how to color these cuties up. I used Copics for mine, and then trimmed them out with the matching dies.

I die cut patterned paper using the Gift Card Tags Die-namics to create the focal panel, stamped on my sentiment, and adhered a fairy to each. I popped this up with foam tape over two more layered prints, the largest of which was trimmed with the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables, the other with my paper trimer. And glued them to a Sno Cone card base. To finish things off, I added a sprinkle of Sparkling Clear Sequins and filled in the holes with Crystal Stickles.

Hello Bunny Friend

Hey friends! Happy Monday. Today I'm bringing you a cute card using the adorable McGregor's Garden stamps by Hello Bluebird. This bunny in particular is one of my favorite images of all time! I just love it! I drew inspiration from my patterned paper today, coloring to match with Copic markers and then trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the focal panel, I cut a piece of Bristol out with the MFT Stitched Scallop Square Frames and blended on Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink using the Cloudy Stencil and Shabby Shutters with the Drifts and Hills Stencil.

The patterned papers I used were from the Echo Park Forward with Faith 6x6 pad and I mixed and matched two more prints that I thought went well. I trimmed the bird print and the fuchsia print with the Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables and layered them all onto a Mermaid card base. I finished off the inside with some stamping in Peacock Ink.

Mouse House Card

Hello friends! Today I have a cute card for you all using Trinity Stamps Mouse House. I just fell in love with this set the first time I saw it! Not only are mice one of my favorite critters to color, but that little house made out of the stump is to die for! I colored my images with Copics along with The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge on Instagram and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the focal panel, I trimmed down a piece of Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock with the Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables and watercolored a subtle background. Then stamped my sentiment with Versafine Onxy Black Ink and adhered it to a MFT Sour Apple card base. I added a Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frame popped up with foam tape and adhered my images with a mixture of foam tape and liquid glue

The Ugly Duckling - Lawn Fawnatics #72

Hi friends! Welcome to another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! This is one of our most fun ones yet, because we are being inspired by books, movies, and songs! Being an avid reader my whole life, I chose a book that had a big impact on me as a child: The Ugly Duckling. Oh, how my heart would break every time! Well, today I'm taking a page from the end of the story when, at long last, the ugly duckling is reunited with his family!

I combined a whole bunch of sets to create this card, including the new Swan Soirée, Rub-a-Dub-DubToadally Awesome and Critters from the Past. I colored all the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

I created a background using Mermaid Cardstock as my sky, trimmed down with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables. For the grass I used Noble Fir Cardstock and the Meadow Borders. I filled in the scene with all my images and added a Spring Showers cloud to the sky.

I adhered that overtop of some Spring Fling 6x6 patterned paper and stamped a sentiment in Peacock Ink. I also finished off the inside with a sentiment from Flirty Frames.
