2022 Valentine Card Series #6

Hey friends, welcome to Day 6 of my 2022 Valentine Card Series! Today's card features the sweet Hello Bluebird Meadow Bunnies. Aren't they the cutest? I colored them with Copic markers, using a stippling effect to give them some furry texture. Then I trimmed them out with the matching dies. For the focal panel I used the Nesting Ovals and Grassy Knoll and added a Party Cloudy cloud.

I covered the card base in layers of Simple Stories Happy Hearts 6x8 patterned paper. Then I added the focal panel in the center and die cut the sentiment from the word dies included with the Gallery Frame #6. To finish things up I added a bit of Stardust Stickles.

2022 Valentine Card Series #5 - Lawn Fawnatics Feature

Hey friends, today I'm so happy to be over on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge Blog with another card for our Lots of Heart Challenge. My card combines the sweet mice from You Autumn Know with the envelopes from Love Letters. My husband and I had a long distance relationship while we were engaged and sent air mail back and forth, so I wanted to make a card inspired by that theme. I'll have all other information and products in my post over there, so I hope you'll check it out.

This is also Day 5 of my 2022 Valentine Card Series, so I hope you'll watch the video tutorial! And if you enjoy it please like the video and leave me a comment. I so appreciate it! Thank you so much for stopping by today!

2022 Valentine Card Series #4

Hey friends, welcome back! Today I'm bringing you Day 4 of my 2022 Valentine Card Series, featuring the adorable Hello Bluebird Next Door Gnomes. To turn this everyday set into a Valentine theme, I added in a couple accessory images from Word Buddies Woodland. I colored them all with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

The patterned papers I used were from the Carta Bella Gather at Home collection. I layered those onto my card base, and added a scalloped strip cut out of the Hello Bluebird Gallery Frame #2. For the focal panel, I used the Nesting Circles, and watercolored a little background with my Zigs. Then I finished off the card with a sentiment, some Sparkling Clear Sequins, and a bit of Stardust Stickles.

2022 Valentine Card Series #3

Hello friends, welcome to Day 3 of my 2022 Valentine Card Series! Today's card features the incredibly adorable MFT Snow Sweet stamp set by Rachelle Anne Miller. This one is definitely more of a friendly love kind of valentine, or it could even be given as a Winter card. I colored the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

The color palette was inspired by the Simple Stories Feelin' Frosty 6x8 pad. I die cut the blue polka dot to be my focal panel with the Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX and layered on two Stitched Slimline Snowdrifts. For the other patterns I used the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 and the Jumbo Fishtail Flags. I popped the focal panel up with foam tape and finished with a little Stardust Stickles.

Today's card features the adorable jungle critters from Stacey Yacula's You Are My Happy Place. I loved them so much, I couldn't choose just one! I colored them all with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

Then I took a piece of Sno Cone Cardstock and die cut three windows using the Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX and backed the windows with patterned paper from the Sweet Plaid 6x6 and popped the focal panel and my images up with foam tape. Lawn Fawnatics #117 - 2022 Valentine Card Series #2

Hello friends, welcome to another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! This round has lots of heart. For my card, I knew that the Lots of Hearts Background Stencil was going to be absolutely perfect. I decided to pull together the cereal bowl from Cerealsly Awesome and the milk from Milk and Cookies as my focal images, along with a trio of hearts from the Scent with Love Add-on. I colored the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For my background I used some Lawn Fawn Inks with the stencil on a piece of Bristol Smooth Surface. I used a combination of Bubblegum and Lobster Ink for one layer of hearts from the two-part stencil, and Moonstone and Forget-me-not for the second layer. I trimmed that down with an Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables and adhered it to a Moonstone card base.

For my focal panel, I die cut some pink and blue Spiffy Speckles 6x6 patterned paper with the Large Cross Stitched Square Stackables. I popped that up with foam tape and adhered my images. To finish things off I added a sentiment and a bit of sparkle with some Stardust Stickles.

This is also Day 2 of my 2022 Valentine Card Series. If you missed Day 1, you can find it HERE. I do hope that you enjoy it! If you do, please be sure to give the video a like and a comment!

Warm Winter Hugs Card

Hey friends! These snowy days have got me in the mood for winter cards and these adorable Hello Bluebird Snow Day critters were calling my name. I colored them with Copic markers to match Echo Park Winter 6x6 patterned papers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

I created a background using a lovely snowflake print and layered two Slimline Hill and Dale snowdrifts over top. Then I die cut another pretty print using the Gallery Frame #4. I adhered everything to a Lawn Fawn Blue Jay card base, popped up the frame with foam tape and finished with a bit of Stardust Stickles.

Art Journal with Me #1 - Start Doing Things You Love

Hey friends, I'm so excited to bring you today's project because it's so different from my usual fare. I've been talking on my YouTube channel lately about my decade long desire to start art journaling. But fear and a single negative comment held me back for YEARS. My first goal for 2022 was to overcome those feelings of anxiety and start doing the things I love. A few days ago I took the plunge, a polar bear plunge, if you will, into those icy waters of intimidation. And you know what? I absolutely loved every second of it. The minute I stuck the first element on the page, I was hooked.

So today I bring you that project, my first ever art journaling page, which definitely will not be my last. I used patterned papers from Stamperia Arctic Antarctic, washi tapeephemera, a washi tape sticker, movie tickets, and for color, Stabilo Woody 3 in 1 Pencil Crayons. I also added in some snowflakes using the Lawn Fawn Snowflake Background Stencils and some Fairy Dust Stencil Paste. All other supplies will be listed and linked in the description bar below the video.

This is a full-length real time tutorial, so the video is a bit long, but I do hope that you will enjoy it and that maybe it will inspire you to pull out some supplies and art journal with me. Or if that doesn't sound like it will be up your alley, maybe grab your coloring or knitting supplies and join me for a chatty, crafty session. Take some time for yourself and enjoy. Thank you so much for watching!

Pawsome Birthday Mini Slimline - Lawn Fawnatics #116

Happy New Year friends! Today we're kicking things off with a brand new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge and this one is all about celebrations! I decided to create a mini slimline birthday card, featuring the adorable pups from Furry and Bright and combining them with a bunch of other sets, including Really High FiveParty AnimalToadally AwesomeElphie Selfie, and Say What? Pets. I colored all the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the mini slimline layers I used the new Large Mini Slimline Stackables. I used the largest die in that set for my patterned paper, and the second largest for my focal panel. I used MermaidCilantro, and Noble Fir Cardstock for the background, with the Grassy Border and Simple Stitched Hillside Borders and added in two Spring Showers clouds.

I attached the patterned paper to the card base, then popped up the focal panel with foam tape. I adhered my images with liquid glue, and added a bit of sparkle with some Stardust Stickles to finish it off.

If you'd like to watch how this card came together, you can click the player below or you can watch the video on YouTube. I had so much fun creating this one, so I really hope that you enjoy it!
