Holiday Card Series 2025 #3

Hey friends, today I'm bringing you Day #3 of my 2025 Holiday Card Series , and this one is a two-fer! I'm creating TWO cards featuring the adorable new Mama Elephant Candy Cane Lane stamp set. This one was just too cute to color just once. I had such a blast bringing these images to life with my Copic markers, then trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For this card I went with a portrait orientation, which gave me a little less room for images, but plenty of space for a nice, big, bold sentiment from Very Merry Sentiments. Sometimes a bold greeting is just the thing to make your card really stand out. I did a simple watercolor wash background with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink and added a bright red Flirty Scallop Frame to set it off.

The second card uses all the same supplies (minus the sentiment set), but this time I flipped it in the landscape orientation so I could really fill it up with as many of these adorable mice as I could fit. I think it turned out equally as cute. To see how they both came together, click the video thumbnail below, or find it HERE on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty. Thanks so much for watching!

Unforgettable Birthday Card

Hey friends, today I'm bringing you a sweet birthday card using one of my favorite older stamp sets, Mama Elephant Ella & Friends. I just love that big, beautiful elephant and her tiny mouse companion. I added in a gift from Cozy Christmas and colored everything with Copic markers, then trimmed them out with the matching dies. This video is also Part 2 from Monday's Plan a Card with Me Video, so check out that one if you want to see how the idea for this card came together.

For the background, I cut out a piece of Bristol Cardstock and did a simple watercolor wash using Tumbled Glass and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Inks. Once that was dry, I stamped a sentiment at the bottom. Then I cut out some patterned paper from the Simple Stories Celebrate! 6x8 pad with the Mama Elephant Flirty Scallop Frames and added a contrasting pattern behind.

Plan a Card with Me - Brainstorming a Birthday Design

Hey friends, today I'm bringing back my popular Plan a Card with Me Series! This time I am brainstorming a birthday design centered around one of my favorite older stamp sets Mama Elephant Ella & Friends. This video gives you a sneak peek behind the scenes of how I come up with a card concept and flesh it out, deciding on what supplies to use, and getting everything ready for a crafting session. Birthday Roar Card

Hey friends, today I've got a fun, masculine birthday card to share using the adorable Mama Elephant The Wild Roar along with the beautiful banana tree from Everyday Monkeys. I just love jungle-themed sets, and this one is so darling! I colored everything with Copic markers and trimmed the images out with their matching dies.

For the background, I blended Twisted CitronMowed Lawn, and Pine Needles Distress Oxide Ink onto a panel of Bristol that I trimmed down with the Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I stamped an Essential Tag Sayings sentiment in the top right corner and glued that to a Noble Fir card base, then adhered my images.

Post Office Pile Up Card

Hey friends, today I'm sharing a card design I've had in the back of my mind for a while now. This one combines the pups in packages image from Mama Elephant's Little Line Agenda with the giant pile of envelopes from Jump for Joy and an extra pup from Snow Friends. When placed strategically, his scarf ends up looking like a collar! Just another way to stretch your stamps.

I colored these images with Copic markers to match some patterned paper from the Pebbles Sunny Blooms 6x8 pad, then trimmed them out with the matching dies. I used the Lawn Fawn Zig Zag Rectangle Stackables to cut out the focal panel and stamped a sentiment in the top right corner. Then I popped that up with foam tape over the rest of the papers and adhered my images. I finished with a sprinkle of clear sequins and some Stardust Stickles.

If you'd like to see how this card came together, click the video thumbnail below, or you can find the tutorial HERE on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty. I really hope you enjoy it! Thanks so much for watching. Don't forget to like the video and subscribe to my channel to show your support. It really means so much. Have a lovely day!

2025 Valentine Card Series #8

Hey friends, today I've got a sweet scenic card for Day 8 of my 2025 Valentine Card Series. I adore these sweet critters from Mama Elephant's Up With Love stamp set and combined it with Scene Builder for some depth and perspective. I colored everything with Copic markers and trimmed the images out with their matching dies.

I stamped a sentiment at the bottom of the focal panel, then die cut the Flirty Scallop Frame out of some Ballet Slippers Cardstock. I popped that up with foam tape and adhered it to a Mermaid card base. I finished off with some Stardust Stickles and tiny hearts from the PPP Strawberry Valentine Mix.

2024 Holiday Card Series #18

Hey friends, welcome to Day 18 of my 2024 Holiday Card Series! For this one I busted out one of my favorite Mama Elephant stamp sets Snow Friends and paired it with some of the scene building elements from BG Wonders of Winter. I colored the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with their matching dies.

Then I chose a couple prints of patterned paper, one to use as my sky, and the rest to layer up on the card base. I glued the trees and the snow to the sky piece and popped that up over the others and added my images with liquid glue. And of course, I finished things off with some Stardust Stickles.

If you'd like to watch the whole process of this card coming together, you can click the thumbnail below, or find the video HERE on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty. I want to wish you all a very merry Christmas! I'll be back on Friday with a New Year's card to close out this year's Holiday Card Series. I hope to see you then!

2024 Holiday Card Series #14

Hey friends, today I'm bringing you an extra sweet card for Day 14 of my 2024 Holiday Card Series. This one uses the amazing gingerbread house from Mama Elephant's Little Agenda Sweets along with the cuties from Little Gingerbread Agenda. And I am so happy with how this one turned out! I colored everything with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the focal panel, I trimmed down a piece of Bristol Cardstock with the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables. Then I blended on a little Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink and stamped a few snowflakes from Snow Much Fun with Lawn Fawn Merman Ink. I also stamped my sentiment in the top right corner and layered this over some patterned paper to tie in the color palette. And of course, finished with some Stardust Stickles.

If you'd like to see how this card came together, click the video thumbnail below, or you can also find the tutorial HERE on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty. I really hope that you enjoy it! This card reminds me that I really need to start my Christmas baking ASAP! Eek! Christmas is coming so dang fast. I can't believe it's nearly here. I'm wishing you all the most festive of holiday seasons!

2024 Holiday Card Series #10

Hey friends, today I'm so happy to bring you Day 10 of my 2024 Holiday Card Series! Similar to Day 6, this card also features Mama Elephant's The Nutcracker and Cozy Christmas. That's because these two cards were originally planned to be filmed in one video! But I quickly realized that the coloring of all the wonderful details was going to take too long, so I split them up. In that way, today's video is a little bit of a Part 2, though certainly they can be viewed individually and separate from the other.

So I colored the images with Copics and trimmed them out with their matching dies. Then I brought in layers of Mintay patterned papers and Vellum for my background, added a Scripty Xmas sentiment, and popped the focal panel up with foam tape. I adhered my images and finished with a sprinkle of clear sequins and some Stardust Stickles.

If you'd like to see how this one came together, click the video thumbnail below, or you can find it HERE on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty. And stay tuned to the end of the video to see a side-by-side comparison of both cards! I think they each turned out unique, while sharing a few similarities. I hope you like them both! Thanks so much for stopping by!

2024 Holiday Card Series #6

Hey friends, it's time for Day 6 of my 2024 Holiday Card Series and I had so much fun with this one. I love the story of The Nutcracker, so I was thrilled when Mama Elephant recently came out with this stamp set! I've been super excited to bring this one to life, and today was the day! I combined it with images from Busy Elves and Cozy Christmas, stamped them all in Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink, colored them with Copic markers, and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

Next I pulled out some patterned papers from the Mintay Merry & Joy Add-on paper pad. I used one print for the focal panel, which I trimmed down with one of the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables and stamped a sentiment on the middle right using Scripty Xmas. The other two prints I layered on my card base, and added a sheet of Vellum over top for a soft, filtered effect. Then I popped up the focal panel with foam tape, adhered my images, and finished with a sprinkling of Clear Sequins and some Stardust Stickles.

If you'd like to see how this card came together, click the thumbnail below, or you can also find the video tutorial HERE on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty. 2024 Holiday Card Series #4

Hey friends, today I'm excited to bring you Day 4 of my 2024 Holiday Card Series! And this one is kind of a bonus because I'm actually creating TWO cards, instead of my usual one. I could not wait to ink up my new Mama Elephant Elephant Cheer stamp set. These little guys are the cutest! I colored up four of the six and two of the trees with Copic markers, and trimmed them out with their matching dies.

These cards both feature three different prints of patterned paper from the Simple Stories Santa's Village 6x8 pad, two on the card base and one in the background serving as my wallpaper. For the floor, I used a strip of Lawn Fawn Woodgrain Cardstock, and stamped a greeting onto an Everyday Sentiment Banner. Then I popped up a Flirty Scallop Frame to encapsulate my scene and finished with a bit of Stardust Stickles.

I also finished off the insides of these cards with the opposite sentiment and one of the two remaining elephant images. They were too adorable not to use them all! You can check out the video tutorial by clicking the thumbnail below, or find it HERE on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty. I really hope you enjoy it! Thanks so much for watching!

You've Got Mail Card

Hey friends, today I've got a fun happy mail card combining the adorable You've Got Mail stamp set with Jump for Joy. I thought it would be so cute to have this stuffed mailbox overflowing into a humongous pile of mail! I did a little altering to one of the images, as the critter stack actually has a bear beneath the bunny, but since I needed it to be shorter, I just selectively stamped from the bunny up. I colored them with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I cut a piece of Bristol down with the postage edge die from the Peek a Frames die set. Then I did a watercolor background with Tumbled GlassStormy Sky, and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Inks. I stamped an Essential Tag Sayings sentiment in the top left corner and popped the focal panel up with foam tape over a sheet of Pebbles Sunny Blooms 6x8 paper. Then I adhered my images and finished with a sprinkle of gold sequins.

If you'd like to see this card come together, click the thumbnail below, or you can find the video tutorial HERE on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty. I really hope you enjoy it. Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Go Bananas Card

Hey friends, today I've got a wild card to share using the adorable Mama Elephant Everyday Monkeys stamps, combined with a few of the accessory images from The Wild Roar. I love these cheeky little monkeys so much! Aren't they just the cutest? I colored them with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the focal panel, I die cut some Bristol Cardstock with the Mama Elephant B2B Arches and did a simple watercolor background with Distress Oxide Inks. I used Speckled Egg for the sky, Bundled Sage for the grass, and Gathered Twigs for the earth. I popped this up over some Lawn Fawn Fruit Salad banana themed patterned paper, and adhered my images with liquid glue. I finished off the card with a few Clear Sequins and some Stardust Stickles.

This card is actually the Part 2 of my previous Plan a Card with Me Video where I took you through the entire brainstorming process. If you'd like to go back and watch that, click the link above. Reading Rainbow Card

Hey friends, I'm back today with a Reading Rainbow inspired card using the adorable Mama Elephant Book Worm stamp set. I've been wanting to ink up this set for so long! I stamped the images in Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink, colored them with Copic markers to match the Echo Park My Little Girl 6x6 pad, and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I trimmed out a white panel with the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables and blended on some Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink. I stamped a sentiment in the top right corner and popped that up with foam tape over two of the patterned papers and adhered my images with liquid glue. I embellished the card with some tiny hearts die cut from the Lawn Fawn Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag and a bit of Stardust Stickles.

If you'd like to see how this card came together, you can check out the video tutorial HERE on my YouTube channel Christy Gets Crafty. I really hope that you enjoy it! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Capybara Collage Card

Hey friends, it's Christy with a fun collage card using the Mama Elephant Little Capybara Agenda stamp set. These critters are so incredibly cute and there are so many to choose from. I  stamped them out in Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink on Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth White Cardstock, colored them with Copic markers, and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I took a sheet of Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock and laid the MFT Verticle Collage Cover-up over top to use like a stencil. Then I did a quick watercolor background using Salvaged PatinaTwisted Citron, and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink. Once that was dry, I stamped my sentiment in Lawn Fawn Walnut Ink.

I cut the die from Light Brown Woodgrain Cardstock and popped it up over the background with foam tape, then glued the focal panel to a Chocolate Bar card base. I popped up my images as well, and finished with a bit of Stardust Stickles. If you'd like to see how the card came together, you can find the video tutorial on my YouTube channel HERE. Thanks so much for watching! I really hope you enjoy it!
