Tree Friends Slimline Card

Hey there, friends! Today I've got a slimline card to share with you, featuring my favorite stamp set of the latest Hello Bluebird release, Tree Neighbors! I just love that gorgeous tall tree and all the fun woodland critters you can set the stage with. I colored the images I chose with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the coordinating dies.

For the background, I blended Distress Oxides onto a piece of Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock using the Lawn Fawn Cloudy Stencil. I wanted the sky to look like a sunrise, so from the top down, I used Spun SugarCarved Pumpkin, and Squeezed Lemonade. Then cut out two Grassy Knolls and used Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn. I popped my tree and my images up with foam tape and finished with a speech bubble sentiment.

So Spell-cial Card - Lawn Fawnatics #109

Hey friends, I'm back with a fun card using the cute kitties from the new Purrfectly Wicked stamp set from Lawn Fawn. This card is for our new Awesome Autumn challenge at Lawn Fawnatics, so I went with an orange and green color palette. I also added in a little pumpkin from Happy Harvest for more fall vibes. I colored everything with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I blended Distress Oxide Inks onto some Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock that I die cut with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I used Spun SugarKitsch Flamingo, and Carved Pumpkin for the walls, and Hickory Smoke and Black Soot for the floor. I mounted that onto a Narwhal card base, adhered my images, and added an Everyday Sentiment Banner, then finished it off with a bit of Stardust Stickles.

If you'd like to see this card come together, you can watch the video tutorial below, or on YouTube. And if you enjoy it, please like and subscribe to my channel! I so appreciate your support!

Hey Bouquet Card

Hey friends, today I've got a super sweet card to share using the Hello Bluebird Bouquet Buddies stamp set. These little pets are so darn cute with their giant bouquet! I colored the cat and dog with Copic markers, and then did some layered stamping for the flowers. I used Lawn Fawn inks, including Freshly Cut Grass and Noble Fir for the stems and leaves, Peachy KeenWild Rose, and Pumpkin Spice for the pink flowers, Moonstone and Forget-Me-Not for the blue, and Butter and Sunflower, for the yellow. Then I trimmed everything out with the matching dies.

The background I die cut from Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock with the Nesting A7s, and blended on some Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink and splattered on some Faded Jeans and Starry Colors. I added a layer of Moonstone Cardstock behind, and also die cut my sentiment out of it with the Knightly LC Large Alpha. Then I popped the focal panel up with foam tape onto a Ballet Slippers A2 standard-size card base. I finished with some Sparkling Clear Sequins and filled their centers with Platinum Stickles.

This is the kind of card that really comes together better on video, so I hope you'll check out the tutorial below or watch it on YouTube. And don't forget to subscribe so you never miss a video! I post new content every Monday and Friday. Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things - September

Hey friends, today I'm back with the September edition of Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things! This one is also my first holiday card of the year. I just could not resist the adorable barnyard critters in Stacey Yacula's Christmas Carols! I colored them with Copic markers, and got a little creative, adding on some festive sweaters, then trimmed the images out with the matching dies.

I used the Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangle STAX for my focal panel, and used the Drifts & Hills Stencil to mask off the bottom, then blended on Distress Oxides for the sky in Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers. Then I trimmed down a piece of the Cheerful Plaid 6x6 paper with the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 and added that to an Amarena Cherry card base and popped the focal panel up in the center. I finished with a bit of Stardust Stickles.

Best Days Fall Card

Hey friends! Today I'm excited to share a fun card using the new Hello Bluebird Best Days stamp set. I have had so much fun playing with this set! Stay tuned to the end of this post to see two more variations of it. For this card, I colored the images with Copics in some festive fall colors and trimmed them out with the matching dies. I also added in a small gift from Christmas is Coming.

For the background, I created a sky with the MFT Rolling Clouds Stencil and some Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink. Then I die cut some Grassy Knolls and sponged on Squeezed LemonadeFossilized Amber, and a touch of Gathered Twigs, and added a road from Ocean Scene, which I colored with Gathered Twigs. Then I sprinkled on some Gansai Tambi Starry Colors. I framed the scene using the Gallery Frame #7 and the Nesting Square with some Simple Stories Cozy Days patterned paper and finished off the card with a little Stardust Stickles.

Mountain High Mini Slimline Card

Hey friends, today I've got my first ever mini slimline card and it definitely won't be my last! What a fun size. This one features the new Hello Bluebird Wilderness Adventure stamp set with a few images from Park Play mixed in. I colored all the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with their matching dies.

For the focal panel, I die cut some Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock with the new Nesting Mini Slimline dies and also two Grassy Knolls, and blended on some Distress Oxide Inks. I used Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers for the sky, and Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn for the grass. I stamped a sentiment in Gathered Twigs and created a frame with Lawn Fawn Kraft Cardstock, and mounted everything to a Kraft card base, then finished off the scene with some Stardust Stickles on the snow caps of the mountains.

Blue Bayou Birthday Card - Lawn Fawnatics #108

Hey friends! Welcome to another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! This time we have got a gorgeous inspiration photo for you. For my card, I combined Toadally Awesome and Swan Soiree, colored all my images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies. I cut a Small Stitched Circle Stackables focal panel and gave it a little glowy sky with some Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink.

I cut a Small Stitched Circle Stackables focal panel and gave it a little glowy sky with some Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink. Then I took the Simple Stripes: Landscape and cut that out of Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock. I blended on Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink on all five pieces, then took the outer two and middle one and blended on Blueprint Sketch

I adhered them to a Blue Jay card base and then popped my focal panel up with foam tape. Then I added a Scripty Hello in Cilantro Cardstock and White Heat Embossed the rest onto more Blue Jay, then die cut it with an Everyday Sentiment Banner. I finished off the card with a bit of Stardust Stickles.
