Hello friends! Today I'm over on the Lawn Fawnatics blog with another card for our Lots of Heart Challenge! For this one I had to dust off my bats again from Fangtastic Friends. I just love them and don't want them to just be relegated to Halloween! I combined them with images from Wood You Be Mine? and the Scent with Love Add-on to bring the Valentine flair. All other info will be listed and linked in my other post, so please check it out!
This is also Day 5 of my 2023 Valentine Card Series! I'm having a lot of fun creating these love themed cards, so if you've missed any, you can find the entire playlist using the link above. Enjoy!
Hey friends, today I'm here with the first Art Journal with Me video of 2023! After starting in January of 2022, I've now completed an entire year of art journaling and I still love it! It's such a freeing art style. For this spread, I'm taking you out of this world, with a bit of a space theme using the Stamperia Cosmos 8x8 pad in my Square Watercolor Journal.
If you'd like to create along side me or just hang out for an hour and chill, grab yourself a drink and a snack or some supplies and click below, or find the video here on YouTube. Don't forget to like and subscribe and leave me a comment so we can chat! I hope to see you there!
Hey friends, I'm back with my second video of the day, this one over on the MFT Stamps YouTube Channel. That's right, it's time for the January edition of Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things! I was so excited to be asked back for another year, and I was feeling the love with this card, starring the new YUZU Hunny Bunny stamp set. Isn't it darling? I wanted to go for a coral and lavender color palette on this one, so I colored the images with Copic marker and trimmed them out with the matching dies.
For the background, I tool a panel of Bristol Smooth Surface cardstock and blended on Distress Oxide Inks in Shaded Lilac and Dusty Concord. Then I trimmed it down with the Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX. I glued that down to a Grapesicle card base, then popped my images up with foam tape. To finish this one off, I added an Essential Stitched Sentiment Strip, some iridescent heart confetti, and a little Stardust Stickles.

Hello friends, welcome to another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! This round is about having Lots of Heart. For this one I wanted to feature the adorable octopuses from Ocean Shell-fie. I love them so much! I colored them and a few of the scene-building images from You Are Sublime and Mermaid for You with Copic markers and trimmed the out with the matching dies.
For the background, I blended Distress Oxide Inks onto Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock, using Tumbled Glass and Stormy Sky for the ocean. I also used the stormy sky to stamp bubbles all over. Then I trimmed down two more pieces of Bristol with the Stitched Hillside Borders and blended on Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs for the sand.
I also die cut the new Heart Garland Backdrop: Portrait out of white cardstock and colored the hearts with Copics to match the pink octopus. I added the background to a Ballet Slippers card base, glued the frame over top, and adhered my images. I finished this card with a stamped sentiment and a little Stardust Stickles for some sparkle and shine.

Hey friends, today I'm excited to bring you Day 2 of my 2023 Valentine Card Series! For this card, I'm using an oldie but a goodie, with Hello Bluebird Otter Friends and combining it with a few scene building elements from the newer Sea Friends to freshen it up. I just love these adorable otters and I thought it would be fun to create an underwater scene with them. I colored them with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.
