Hey friends, it's that time of the month again! I've got another Art Journal with Me video. For May I'm talking all about my Mother's Day trip to Letchworth State Park, and using a map of the park to add some interest to the spread in my art journal. I combined that with some scenic rice paper, and patterned paper from the Stamperia Azulejos de SueƱo 8x8 pad.
If you'd like to see how the pages came together, you can click below or watch on YouTube. The video is about 45 minutes, so you may want to grab a snack or some supplies and we can hang out together! I'm really looking forward to spending time together in this way. I hope you enjoy it!

For the background, I used the Cloud Stencil and blended Spun Sugar and Saltwater Taffy Distress Inks onto the sky. Then I used Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness with the Drifts & Hills Stencil for the ground. I trimmed the panel down, stamped a sentiment across the top, and popped that up over a strip of Springing for Houndstooth 6x6 paper for a little extra color and pattern. I finished with a sprinkle of clear sequins and a little Stardust Stickles.

For the background, I trimmed down some Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables and blended on some Distress Oxide Inks using the Cloudy Stencil. I also cut another piece down with the Grassy Border and stamped a sentiment at the bottom from Scripty Autumn Sentiments. I'll also show all the colors of Distress Oxide Ink I used in the video.

Hey friends, it's time for another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! This is a really fun one because we are creating cards inspired by other Lawn Fawn designers! There are so many incredible design team members to choose from, but I ended up going with a card by Marine Simon. Marine always comes up with the most fun and unique scenes, and this one is no exception!
Marine made her card using the Shutter Card die, cleverly omitting the center opening to give herself a larger canvas to work on. To make the card my own, I decided to shrink the design down to a standard A2 size card and change up a few things. I pulled together images from Elephant Parade, Elephant Parade Add-on, Wild for You, Toucan Do It, Critters in the Jungle and Chit Chat. I colored them all with Copic markers, switching to a warmer color palette, and trimmed them out with the matching dies.
If you'd like to see how this card came together, you can click below or watch on YouTube. I really hope you enjoy it! Don't forget to check the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog to see the rest of the design team's Inspired By creations! We hope you'll play along too!
