Welcome to Paper Crafter's Library

Good Morning!
Today I thought I'd share a little news with you all.
This past January I was lucky enough to join the Paper Crafter's Library team
as an Instructor/Designer and I now film exclusive video tutorials
of cards and projects using various techniques just for them.

Paper Crafter's Library is a wonderful resource for paper crafters
of all kinds with a vast video library containing hundreds of tutorials
on every kind of technique and project you can imagine.
There's everything from product reviews, to tips and tricks,
from cards, to mixed media, to art journaling, and more.

Even better, I've now become an affiliate with them,
so if you click on the badge at the top of this post
or the identical badge in my sidebar and subscribe,
I will now earn a percentage from that membership which will go
toward helping me maintain this blog and continue trying out
new products and techniques to make the best videos I can for you all.
I appreciate your support so much!

Because PCL is a membership-based community
and the projects and video tutorials I make for them are exclusive,
I can only share sneak peeks here,
but the following are a few of the cards and videos I have created
just for PCL and are either up on their website already
or will be releasing soon.

Feel Better Sunflower Card using Lawn Fawn

Kiss, Kiss I Love You Card using Mama Elephant

Sweet of You Card using WPlus9

You Float My Boat Card using Lawn Fawn

Sending Smiles Card using Mama Elephant

I hope you enjoyed those sneak peeks
and I hope you'll check out Paper Crafter's Library
by clicking the badge at the top of this post!

Have a great day!

Faith Bird in Blue

Hey there! Today the girls at Crafter's Companion are teaming up
with the folks at Simon Says Stamp for the Wednesday Challenge!

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog

This week's challenge is to use buttons.

For my card, I white embossed the Stamp-It Discovery "Faith Bird"
on some watercolor paper and then added Distress Inks in colors
I also included paper from the Basic Grey "Fresh Cut" 6x6 and
a wooden button from Little Yellow Bicycle.

I hope you like it!

There are TWO prizes up for grabs this week:
a $50 gift certificate to Simon Says Stamp
and two packs of Spectrum Noir 6 pen sets and a Crafter's Companion
stamp set of the winner's choice from the selection that Simon carries.

I hope you'll check out the challenge and play along!

#1 Supporter

Today is the day! I can finally share the news of a new release
from Crafter's Companion that I am super excited about.
The Angelica line is now Angelica & Adam!
And believe me, that makes this mom of three boys super glad.
It's so hard to find cute boy stamps, but these are truly darling.

Since the World Cup is going on right now,
and my hubby and sons are HUGE soccer fans,
I just had to color this little guy to look like my Chaz,
who loves to root for Bayern Munich.
I even colored the jersey to match using my Spectrum Noirs
in shades FS1, FS3, IB1, BG8, BG10, GB8, GB4, GB6, GB10,
 EB7, DR3, DR5, DR7, CT4, GT1, GT2, and GT3

I hope you like him!

Spreadin' A Little Love

Hey everyone!
Oh goodness, I have fallen head over heels in love with
the Mama Elephant Up & Away stamp set this week.
Okay, so technically, I fell in love with it the minute I laid eyes on it
back when it was released a few months ago.
But for some reason, after I ordered it, it just sat and sat unused.
I think it was because it was so darn cute, and there was so much
stunning inspiration from other crafters using it,
that I wanted to be sure that I could come up with an equally stunning card.

This week I decided to just stamp out  bunch of the images and color for fun.
No design team deadlines, no challenges to enter, just for the sheer love of coloring.
And guess what? I ended up making THREE cards within 24 hours
AND I'M NOT DONE YET! Ha!

The third time I decided to film a video for y'all and do some
real-time coloring, because I know you've been asking for it.
You'll get to see the second card at the start of the video too.
I hope you like them!

Enjoy the video and please don't forget

True Colors

Hey everyone! Happy Friday!
I'm off to teach a Deco Mesh Wreath class in a few minutes
but first I wanted to pop in and share a card I made using
one of the FOUR brand-new stamp sets in Sheena's

I used one of the gorgeous butterfly images in "The Butterfly Effect"
combined with a sentiment from "True Colors".
I colored it in with my Spectrum Noirs in shades
PP3, OR1, OR2, CT4, DG4, TB9, and LV2 on

I hope you like it!
Have an amazing weekend!

Oh Happy Day - Lawnscaping Challenge #78

Hey there! Welcome to Lawnscaping Challenge #78!

Today we are being sponsored by the wonderful folks at Lawn Fawn
who have generously offered up a FREE stamp set of the winners choice!

So if you know me and my style, you are probably aware that
CAS is NOT my thing at all.
I feel like my hands are being tied behind my back when I'm told
that I can't use patterned paper or embellishments! Lol!
I don't know what to do with myself!

But I'm always up for a challenge, so I decided to embrace it
and just do my best to keep my card as minimal as possible.

I'm happy with how it turned out!

I wanted to color my little birds from the Hello Sunshine set
to look like chickadees -- love them!
And since I wanted two of them to be singing to each other,
I brought in the music note from Winter Sparrows.

This is also the 5th installment in my 2014 Spring Card Series.
I hope you enjoy the video!

Please don't forget to like, comment and subscribe.
And don't forget to check out the Lawnscaping blog for all
the other amazing design team samples!

Watercolor Woodland Friends

Hey everyone, wow! Talk about a late post.
This was supposed to be up this morning but YouTube
wasn't finished with my video before I had to leave for work,
and I just returned home for the first time today,
so I was just now able to get it posted.
I hope you're enjoying it whatever time you're reading this. :)

I am still in love with Mama Elephant
and this Tree Friends set just really makes me happy!
I decided to watercolor a little scene using my Distress Markers,

This is Card #4 in my 2014 Spring Series.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Believe In The Beauty of Dreams

Hey there, everyone, happy Friday!
Hope you're saving some time this weekend for crafty endeavors. :)

Today I'm sharing this card I made using a brand-new series
Dreamer has three stamp sets full of really cool imagery and sentiments,
like the one I used from the Take Flight set.

By the way, if you click on that link, you'll see my card.
on the right, second from the bottom.
Seeing my work featured in the store samples never gets old. :)

To make my card,
I selected several spray mists in colors to match the patterned paper,
removed the nozzle and flicked on spatters of color.

I hope you like it!

Have a fantastic weekend!

Hey everyone! How's your Wednesday going?
Today I'm sharing a card made with one of the brand new

Happy Saturday morning, y'all!
Today, despite the snow and cold, I'm sharing a bright and springy card,
