I Wheelie Like You - 2016 Valentine Card Series #7 - Lawnscaping Feature

So I'm super excited today to have my first months feature over on the Lawnscaping Challenge blog, where I'm showcasing this super cute card for our current Watercoloring Challenge. I'm sneak peeking it here, but please check it out over there and don't forget to play along! There's still a few hours to go.

Also, this is card #7 of my 2016 Valentine Card Series on YouTube. I've been creating all these cards for the Cards From The Heart Card Drive, but I had to mail them in on Monday so they would make it to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in time for Valentine's Day. Because of this, any additional cards in this series will just be stockpiled for next year. I know that seems far off in advance, but it never hurts to be ahead of the game, in my opinion!

I hope you enjoy the video! Please click on the YouTube icon at the bottom right if you'd like to watch it there in HD. And don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe!

Whale You Be Mine - 2016 Valentine Card Series #6

Good morning, friends! Are you ready to take on a brand-new week? I spent my free time this weekend finishing up some cards for the Cards From The Heart Card Drive. Since the cards need to be received by January 30th, in order for Winter to have time to sort, package and send out the cards to St. Jude's Children's Hospital to be distributed on Valentine's Day, I wanted to be ready to drop them off at the post office after work today. With the storms that have been going on, I wanted to be sure they'd arrive in time.

These two cards make up the 6th installment in my 2016 Valentine Card Series on YouTube. I used the adorable Avery Elle Whale Hello stamps and dies and did a underwater background with my Copic markers.

Since we're still three weeks away from Valentine's Day, and I've still got ideas swirling in my head, I've decided to continue with the series. I'll simply stockpile the extra cards for next year. :)

Please enjoy the video. Click on the YouTube icon at the bottom right to watch it there in HD and please don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe! It all helps my channel grow.

I would also like to enter these cards in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Create With Critters. Talk about a challenge that is right up my alley!

Have a great day!

Super Duper In Every Way - 2016 Valentine Series Card #5

Happy Saturday, friends! Today I'm bringing you card #6 in my 2016 Valentine Series on YouTube. I finally inked up my Mama Elephant Tiny Heroes stamp set -- it's so darling, I don't know what took me so long to use it. Probably it was the hair. Hair is not my strong suit when it comes to Copic coloring, since I usually prefer to use critters. But after coloring enough images to make a dozen of these cards, I think I might finally be starting to get the hang of it. :) I shared a few of the tips I discovered with you in the video.

Once again, these cards will be going to the Cards From The Heart Card Drive which benefits the kids at St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Click on the link to find out all the info you need to donate cards to this fantastic cause. And stay tuned to the end of the video to see a few more of the cards I created with this super hero theme.

Click on the YouTube icon at the bottom right to watch the video there in HD and please don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe to let YouTube know you'd like to see more videos from me.

I would also like to enter this card in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Create With Critters since I used that cute little pup and kitty. Who says animals can't be heroes too?

Thank you all so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

Consider Yourself Hugged - 2016 Valentine Card Series #3

It's finally Friday! Woohoo! And time for the next installment in my 2016 Valentine Card Series. Today I'm playing with the WPlus9 Wishing You stamp set, along with a sentiment from Happy Mail. And I just had to break out my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens again. I'm having so much fun playing with them.

I'm mass-producing valentines today for the Cards From The Heart Card Drive that benefits the kids at St. Jude's Children's Hospital. I wanted to create a simple layout with minimal supplies that would still look cute, of course, so I could really crank out the cards and bless as many kids as possible. If you haven't looked into this Card Drive, I highly recommend it. It is such a worthy cause.

I hope you enjoy the video! Please click on the YouTube icon at the bottom right if you'd like to watch it there in HD, and please don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe to let YouTube know you'd like to see more videos from me.

I did an ombre effect with my shading on the bunnies, starting with the darkest color on the outside edge, and working my way to the light on the insides where they meet. I'd like to enter this into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday: Ombre ChallengeI hope you all have a wonderful day!

Bugs & Kisses - 2016 Valentine Card Series #2

Hi friends! Tonight I'm popping in quick with card #2 in my 2016 Valentine Series. I would have liked to have it up sooner, but I wasn't feeling well last week. Anyway, I wanted to use the Lawn Fawn Bugs & Kisses stamps and dies to create another card for the Cards From The Heart Card Drive. I also used the Simon Says Stamp Tri Square Die and the My Mind's Eye Just Spendid 6x6 paper pad.

I hope you enjoy the video! Please click on the YouTube icon at the bottom right to view the video there in HD. Also, please don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more videos! I so appreciate it. Have a wonderful day!

You Make My Heart Smile - 2016 Valentine Card Series #1 (and a winner!)

Good morning, everyone! Welcome to the kickoff of my 2016 Valentine Card Series! All the cards I'll be making in this series will be going to the Cards From The Heart Drive benefitting the kids at Saint Jude's Children's Hospital. This drive is so near and dear to my heart. This will be my fifth year participating and I would LOVE to have you join us in making those sweet children's faces light up and forget about their illness for just one day.

For my card today, I wanted to bust out my brand-new Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens that I got with a gift cards from my birthday last September and for Christmas. I picked up the 48 set, but they are even sold individually so if you want to purchase just a few to start out with, you can do that at Butterfly Reflections, Ink.

I was also itching to use my new Mama Elephant Lunar Animals stamps and dies that my friend Kari sent me for Christmas. I paired this with the Lawn Fawn Merry Christmouse stamp set, which was an exclusive with Simon Says Stamp for Stamptember and is no longer available, but any cheese image you can get your hands on would work just as well. For my sentiment, I used Mama Elephant Cross My Heart stamped in Memento Luxe Rose Bud and Versafine Onyx Black

My patterned papers were from the Love Me 6x6 by My Mind's Eye, and I used both the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Circle Stackables and Stitched Scalloped Borders dies as well. The colors I used and all over info is included in the video. I hope you'll enjoy!

Please click the YouTube icon at the bottom right to watch it there in HD and don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe! It really helps me out!

Also, please head over to my friend Winter's blog and find out all the details on how to participate in this amazing Cards From The Heart Card Drive. It's a fantastic opportunity to give some great kids a super fun-filled and loving Valentine's Day.

I'll be entering this in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Something New since I got to play with so many new crafty goodies on this card! And also in the Word Art Wednesday: Anything Goes.

Last but not least, the winner of my Seasons Givings Blog Hop Prize Pack is Jeanne Jordan! Congrats Jeanne! I'll be in touch soon. Thanks to everyone who left me such awesome comments! I read and cherished every one. Big hugs!

Have a great day! Thanks so much for stopping by.
