Veggie Garden Card

Hey friends, today I'm bringing you a bright and cheerful card featuring more of the brand new Hello Bluebird Release. For this card, I wanted to use the Vegetable Market stamp set, with all of it's adorable gardening critters. I colored the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I die cut the various elements out of colored cardstock and added Distress Inks to give them some shading. For the ground, I used Hill and Dale to trim down Kraft Cardstock, and blended on Vintage Photo and Ground Espresso. For the grass I used Grassy Knoll for Cilantro Cardstock and blended on Mowed Lawn. And for the sky, I actually ink blended Salvaged Patina directly onto my Sno Cone card base.

Then I took our new Just for You Words and die cut that from Ground Coffee Cardstock for my sentiment, and finished that with a stamped strip using Walnut Ink. I attached everything with liquid glue, and added a few White Gel Pen accents and some Stardust Stickles to finish it off. See how the entire card came together by clicking below or find it here on YouTube. I hope you enjoy it!

Art Journal with Me #19 - You are a Work of Art

Hey friends, it's time for another Art Journal with Me video! Today's spread was inspired by a short story that I wrote recently, incorporating a few of the same motifs. As always, I did it in my Square Watercolor Journal, which I really love the size of and the weight and thickness of the watercolor paper. I added little bits of ephemera like washi tapeticket stickers, and vintage papers.

The two stars of the show were the phonograph, which I cut from the Stamperia Lady Vagabond Lifestyle 6x6 paper pad and the birds, which I added using the Tim Holtz Ideology Aviary Collage Paper and some Clear Gesso. I also embellished the edges with Inka Gold and finished with a title using Tim Holtz Ideology Small Talk Stickers.

I would love for you to grab some supplies and craft along with me, or make yourself a snack and just hang out. I really appreciate you taking the time to watch and leave your comments. I hope you enjoy it! Click below or find it here on YouTube.

Happy Purrrthday Card

Hey friends! Today I have a card that all you cat lovers are going to enjoy, I hope! This one features the brand new Nine Lives stamp set from Hello Bluebird. I absolutely adore them! I colored three of them, plus the little mouse and some accessories with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

Then I took a piece of Spectrum Noir cardstock and die cut three windows using our Nesting Circles. I tucked a piece of Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock behind that, and added some ink blending through the openings using Picked RaspberrySalvaged Patina, and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink. Then I splattered some of that ink onto the top panel as well. I popped the focal panel and the images up with foam tape, added a sentiment stamped in Plastic Flamingo Ink, and finished with some Clear Sequins and Stardust Stickles.

Sea-son's Greetings Card - Lawn Fawnatics #153

Hey friends, welcome to another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! This time we are thinking ahead to the winter holiday with Christmas in July! For my card, I decided to go with a beachy theme, so I created a subtle Christmas tree motif using the Lawn Fawn How You Bean? Seashell Add-on with some coral elements that sort of resemble a snowflake from Mermaid for You. I colored the shells with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies. The coral I stamped in Peachy Keen and Moonstone Ink.

For the background, I started with a piece of Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock that I die cut with the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables. Then I blended on Distress Inks, starting in the center with Salvaged Patina, then added in Stormy Sky and finally Chipped Sapphire to darken up the edges. I splattered two shades of metallic gold watercolor using Gansai Tambi Starry Colors, starting from the corners toward the center.

Then I gold heat embossed a sentiment from Christmas Fishes, added my coral with liquid glue and popped the seashells up in the tree shape with foam tape. And to finish things off, I added two different colored crystal gems and some Stardust Stickles. I also did some stamping on the inside, which you can check out in the video.

You're Flamazing Card

Hey friends, today I've got a bright, summery card featuring the adorable Sunny Studio Fabulous Flamingos combined with the island from Tropical Scenes. I stamped the images with Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink, colored them with Copic markers, and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For my focal panel, I cut the smaller Sunny Studio Fancy Frames Rectangle out of white cardstock, then backed that with a wave print from the Summer Splash 6x6 pad for a quick and easy background. I chose three more prints to layer on the card, then popped the focal panel up with foam tape, and adhered my images with liquid glue. To finish the card, I added an Everyday Sentiment Banner stamped in Lawn Fawn Plastic Flamingo Ink, plus a few clear sequins, and a bit of Stardust Stickles.

Watermelon Summer Card - Lawn Fawnatics #152

Hey friends, it's time for another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge and this time we are having Fun with Food! Lately I have been constantly craving watermelon, so I knew that was going to be the inspiration behind my card. I combined images from Crazy AnticsBubbles of Joy, and Happy Summer. I stamped them in Jet Black Ink, colored them with Copic markers, and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the focal panel, I cut down two panels of Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock with the Secret Garden Window and one with the grass part of the Mushroom Border. Then I blended on Distress Oxides using Salvaged Patina with the Cloudy Stencil for the sky, and Twisted CitronMowed Lawn, and Pine Needles for the grass. I stamped a sentiment from Beary Rainy Day at the top right.

This card was calling for some patterned paper from the new Fruit Salad 6x6 pad, so I chose the watermelon print and the pink gingham and layered those over my Ballet Slippers card base. Then I popped the focal panel up with foam tape, adhered my images with liquid glue, and finished with some Stardust Stickles and iridescent hearts.
