Garden Party Birthday Card

Hey friends, today I have a square Springtime card to share with you. For this one, I combined images from Hello Bluebird Garden FriendsGarden PartyBloomin Happy, and Cake Time. I stamped all of the images in Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink, colored them with Copic markers to match the Carta Bella Flora #6 paper pad, and trimmed them out with the coordinating dies.

I die cut the patterned paper with the Gallery Frame #7, then popped it up with foam tape over some Bristol Cardstock. I watercolored a simple background using Shaded Lilac and Bundled Sage Distress Ink, then stamped a sentiment from Birthday Script in the top left corner. I added my images with a mix of liquid glue and foam tape and finished with a bit of Stardust Stickles.

Thank You Honey Card - Lawn Fawnatics #167

Hey friends! Welcome to a new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge. This one is all about Spring, which makes me think of blossoms and buzzing things. I started by stamping out the bees from Hive Five, and combining them with branches from A Bug Deal, leaves from Our Friendship Grows, and flowers from Magic Messages and Stinkin Cute. I colored the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with their matching dies.

For the background, I trimmed down a piece of Bristol with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables. Then I blended on Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink using the Cloudy Stencil and splattered that with Gansai Tambi Starry Colors. I adhered that to a Sunflower card base and stamped on the inside with Doe Ink. Then I die cut the Magic Iris Beehive Add-on out of more Sunflower and added definition with my Copics.

Then I white heat embossed a sentiment from Magic Messages onto Chocolate Bar Cardstock and popped the hive over top with foam tape. I adhered my images with a mix of liquid glue and foam tape and finished with a bit of Stardust Stickles. And that's it!

1 Set 4 Ways Episode 11 - Beeline to Your Heart

Hey friends, today I'm bringing back my 1 Set 4 Ways Series featuring the adorable MFT Beeline to Your Heart illustrated by Jenoblade. I got this set in the mail the other day and I was so excited to play with it that I just couldn't stop at designing one card. I had to keep going. If you want to see the entire process of going from one card idea to four, including deciding on the layouts and choosing my supplies, you can find the Plan a Card with Me x4 video using that link.

So after I figured out the layouts of these cards and which images I would be using for each, I stamped them all out using Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink and colored them with Copic markers to match some patterned paper from the Carta Bella Here, There, and Everywhere 6x6. To keep the cards unified, I used the same paper pad for all of the cards, but I chose different patterns to mix for each one. I trimmed out the images with the matching dies.

Another way that I kept the cards cohesive is by using the same size and design focal panels. I started by trimming down Bristol Cardstock with the MFT A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2. Then I used the Rolling Clouds Stencil to add Tumbled Glass and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink for the sky. For the ground I used the Drifts & Hills Stencil with Bundled Sage and Rustic Wilderness.

The last way I tied the cards together was by using the same Lawn Fawn Sticky Note Cardstock for all four card bases. I stamped additional images and sentiments on the inside with Sunflower Ink. Then I layered on my patterned paper, using two prints for each card. I popped the focal panel up with foam tape, glued down my images, and finished with some Stardust Stickles.

Because I used those similar designs and products for all the cards, they would make a great set to give to someone as a gift, or they can be used to build up your stash and sent out individually. Either way! If you'd like to see how they all came together, click below or find the video HERE on YouTube. I really hope you enjoy it! Thanks so much for watching!

Plan a Card with Me x 4

Hey friends, today I'm sharing another Plan a Card with me video. This time I'm coming up with not one, not two, not even three, but FOUR card ideas at once using the MFT Beeline to Your Heart stamp set illustrated by Jenoblade. Which means that Friday's video will be a 1 Set 4 Ways, which I haven't done in a while because they are so time-consuming to film, but I was just that excited about these images! I hope you enjoy this video, walking you through each layout and supply as I prepare to make four cards using one super adorable stamp set. Check it out down below or find it HERE on my YouTube channel.

2024 Valentine Card Series #10 - Lawn Fawnatics #166

Hey friends, welcome to our newest Lawn Fawnatics Challenge: Interactive Cards! For my project today, I decided to create some little treat bags for my boys for Valentines Day, using the new Lawn Fawn Heart Pouch. But first, I started by stamping out my images from Scent with Love and the Scent with Love Add-on, coloring them with Copic markers, and trimming them out with their matching dies.

To create the heart pouches, I cut out two panels for each treat container from Ballet Slippers Cardstock, then ran one panel of each back through my die cutting machine with the Heart Pouch Dotted Hearts Add-on to give the front some extra interest. I also die cut the heart lace strip from white cardstock, and the XOXO tag from white and Guava Cardstock. I assembled the box using 1/4" Double-sided Tape.

Then it was time to decorate the boxes. I first adhered a little triangle of Fruit Salad 6x6 patterned paper to the bottom point of the heart. Then I added the white heart lace strip over top. I glued my images on and filled up each treat box with candy. Then I closed them up with a bit of twine and threaded on the XOXO tag before I tied each bow.

And that's it! I really love how these treat pouches came out, and I think my kids are going to love them too. This is also Day 10 of my 2024 Valentine Card Series, so if you'd like to see how they came together, you can watch the video tutorial below, or find it HERE on my YouTube channel. I really hope you enjoy it!
