Adorable Den Card

Hey friends, today I'm here with a fun card using Trinity Stamps Bunny Burrow along with the  fox and a few fall leaves from Sleepy Hollow. I love that Bunny Burrow so much because to me it looks like a Hobbit hole! I colored all my images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I used a piece of Sno Cone Cardstock trimmed down with an A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2. For the grass, I used a piece of Echo Park Happy Fall 6x6 paper cut down with the grass die that comes with the Lawn Fawn Mushroom Border. Then I adhered my images with a combo of liquid glue and foam tape. I layered more of the patterned papers onto my card base and popped the focal panel up in the center. As a finishing touch, I added a little Stardust Stickles.

Let's Go Nuts - Lawn Fawnatics #85

Hello and welcome to Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #85! Today is a super fun theme because it is all about the most colorful season of the year: Awesome Autumn! I absolutely had to use my favorite stamp set of the entire new release, Let's Go Nuts. I literally squealed the first time I saw it! Sooo cute! I colored my images with Copic Markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For my background, I started by cutting the Peekaboo Backdrop three times out of some Kraft Cardstock, once out of Mermaid Cardstock, and once out of Cilantro. I also used the Stitched Hillside Borders on the green to create my ground. I layered up all these elements and added two tiny clouds from Spring Showers to set my scene.

Then it was time to populate it with my adorable squirrel colony! I adhered all my images with liquid glue, and added in the leaves for fun little pops of color all throughout the scene. As a final touch, I White Heat Embossed a Ground Coffee Everyday Sentiment Banner and adhered it across the center of my card.

Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things - September

Hello and welcome to the September edition of Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things! Today I'm so happy to be featured over on the My Favorite Things YouTube Channel with a fun holiday card featuring the Joyous Holidays stamp set. These Santas and reindeer are so dang cute! I stamped everything in Extreme Black Hybrid Ink, colored the images with Copic Markers, and trimmed them out with the coordinating dies.

For my background, I used the Drifts & Hills Stencil to create a snowy hillside with Distress Oxide Inks. I trimmed that down with the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2. I wanted my sentiment to be big and bold and somehow subtle at the same time, if that makes sense. Lol. So I used the Sending Christmas Joy Die-namics to cut right into the background and left all the die cut letters in place. I added that to a Wild Cherry card base. To lighten the letters, I brushed over them with a Glitter Brush Pen, which removed a little of the ink. I adhered my images so that it would look like Santa was dotting the J,  and then added some Stardust Stickles for a little bling.

I also did some fun stamping on the inside, which you can check out in the video. Don't forget to subscribe to My Favorite Things for more amazing videos!

The Right Direction Card - Lawn Fawnatics #84

Welcome back, friends, for another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! This time we're all about back to school. Since my kids are too old for teacher cards, I decided to spin this one for anyone who is a mentor or guiding light in your life. The Car Critters were perfect for that. I paired them with Village Heroes and Butterfly Kisses for the tufts of grass and the clouds, which I turned into bushes. I stamped in Jet Black Ink, colored with Copics, and trimmed out with the matching dies.

I wanted to create a turn off junction to suit the scale of my vehicles, so I started by cutting out the Road Border from Black Licorice Cardstock. Then I drew out the road that is coming toward the viewer by hand, and trimmed it out with Teflon Scissors. I also trimmed out a Stitched Hillside Border from Noble Fir Cardstock.

I mounted the green hillside to a Mermaid card base and adhered my roads over top. I White Heat Embossed a sentiment, and adhered my images with liquid glue. Then as a finishing touch, I stamped the little Eeeooooo sentiment at the top for some extra whimsy. I also finished off the inside of the card in Peacock Ink, which you can check out in the video.
