Valentine Card Series 2026 #2 - Lawn Fawnatics #213

Hey friends, it's time for another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge, and this one's got Lots of Heart! We're creating those love-themed cards and projects, whether that be for Valentine's Day, an anniversary, or simply just because. For my card, I featured the bear from the new Critter Conversation Hearts and combined him with two more bears from Den Sweet Den, I also brought in the jar from How You Bean? and to tie the whole theme together, the How You Bean? Conversation Heart Add-on.

I colored the images in pastel shades, reminiscent of the actual conversation heart candies. Then I trimmed them out with their matching dies. I also cut the jar out of acetate using the How You Bean? Shaker Add-on to create a little window for the candies to show through and to make it look more like a jar.

For the background, I used the new Outline Hearts Stencil and blended Spun Sugar and Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide Inks onto a panel of Bristol Cardstock. I trimmed that down with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables and adhered it to a Ballet Slippers card base. I added my images with foam tape and finished with a little Stardust Stickles.

Howlin' Good Time Card - Lawn Fawnatics #212

Hey friends, happy new year and welcome to our first Lawn Fawnatics Challenge of 2026: Let's Celebrate! We are starting by building up our stash of celebration cards, commemorating special occasions for the loved ones in our lives. As always, after several months of focusing solely on holiday card making, my stash of birthday cards is completely gone, so that was the first thing on my mind to build back up again.

I wanted this card to be kind of gender neutral, universal for anyone's birthday that might pop up quickly, so I went with a dog theme. I pulled together the pups and speech bubbles from Simply Celebrate Critters and sat them at a table from Simply Celebrate Hangouts. Then I threw in a few accessory images from Yappy Birthday and the Yappy Birthday Add-on.

I created a Cloudy Stencil background using Tumbled Glass and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Ink for the sky, and Bundled Sage with the Slimline Grassy Stencil for the ground. I adhered this to a Moonstone card base and added my images with foam tape and liquid glue. I finished it off with some Stardust Stickles.

If you'd like to see how this card came together, click the thumbnail below, or you can also find the video HERE on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty! I really hope you enjoy it! And don't forget to stop by the Lawn Fawnatics blog to see what the rest of the design team has created and to link up your own projects to play along!
