Lawnscaping Challenge #30

Hey there!

A very special thanks goes out to our wonderful sponsor,
the stamp company whose images we've all fallen in love with,
the whimsically wonderful Lawn Fawn!

We truly are grateful to Kelly Marie and the gang
for offering up this fantastic prize:

Okay, so Lawnscaping Challenge #30 was such a fun one
because it's all about being inspired by other crafters.
Honestly this one was super easy because I am inspired
by all you amazingly creative people all the time!

But I chose to CASE this lovely card by Vera Rhuhay.

I just loved the way the tendrils were curling down,
dotted with flowers... something about it always
reminded me of my favorite tree -- the weeping willow.
So I decided to make mine just that.
As if the camera person were standing beneath one.

I used a total of six Lawn Fawn stamp sets, including:
Critters Ever After, Sew Lovely, Critters In The Forest,
Sally's ABCs, Hats Off To You, and Cozy Christmas.

This card reminds me of the Serendipity books
I used to read in grade school.
Anyone else remember those? I loved them!

Anyway, thank you so much for stopping by today!
Please be sure to check out the Lawnscaping Challenge blog

and to see the rest of the design team's amazing creations.

Have a great day!

Adventure Griffin

Hey there, everybody!
Happy Monday.

I wanted to pop in and share a card I whipped together
yesterday morning before work.

I received my latest Two Peas order on Friday,
and in it was a couple of the new Lawn Fawn sets,
including Critters Ever After.

When I first saw this set, I was instantly in love
with every image -- except the griffin.
Don't get me wrong, I thought he was cute,
but I didn't expect to get much use out of him.

So imagine my surprise when I was suddenly hit
by inspiration-at-first-sight with that exact stamp!

Doesn't he make the coolest whimsical boy cards
with a little bit of edge?
The Simple Stories Awesome 6x6 pad
has quickly become one of my absolute favorites
for boy cards with a fun and funky flair.
I can see myself using this a ton.

Anyway, I hope you like it!
Have a great day, everybody!

Happy Birthday Pup

Good morning!

Just thought I'd stop in and share a birthday card
I made recently for one of my son's little friends.

With the sweet Lawn Fawn pup, balloon,
and sentiment, and some bright My Mind's Eye papers,
this card was a snap to put together.

I hope you enjoyed it!

Have a fantastic day!

Lawnscaping Challenge #28

Hey there!

This challenge is being sponsored by the
incredible Lawn Fawn!

The winner will receive a fantastic prize,
especially considering all the new sets that
will be released at the end of this month!

Here's my Distressed card:

I needed a birthday card for my sweet and sassy
friend and fellow writer, Alice, who turned 80 yesterday!
She is seriously the coolest chick I know.
I thought she would appreciate this vintage-style card
using Crate Paper's Portrait collection,
Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Inks,
and a sentiment from Sophie's Sentiments.

I hope you enjoy it too!

Please stop by the Lawnscaping Challenge blog
for all the details on how to enter,

We love you guys!

Have a great day!

Floral Designs

Hey everybody!
Thought I'd do something a little different today.

I think most of you know that I work as a
Floral Designer at my local A. C. Moore.
Last January when I got the position,
I shared a few of my (sad) first attempts with you,
but I haven't shared any of my arrangements since then.

Last Saturday evening, after I punched out,
I walked around and took a some photos of a couple
of my designs that I could reach. ;o)
What can I say? I'm short. And a lot of them are high up.

Anyway, I thought maybe y'all would
be interested to see them.
Prices are always reflected on the actual cost of product used.
A few of these are large "show piece" arrangements,
others are smaller and more reasonably priced. :o)

Enjoy!

I'll tell you what, it's a great feeling to get to go to work
and be creative every day.

I'd love any comments!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Lawnscaping Challenge #27

Hello!

This challenge is all about sharing the LOVE.
And it's sponsored by the wonderful Simon Says Stamp!

Who has very generously offered up this awesome prize:

On to my card!
If this looks just a little bit familiar,
you may recognize it from this similar card
I made for the Lawn Fawn CHA challenge.

At the time, I stamped several versions of this image
and sentiment because I loved the idea so much.
I thought this challenge would be the perfect opportunity
to take it and put a fresh, new spin on it.

Here's the result:

I also took a little wedding favor that
was so cute, I just couldn't throw it away,
and repurposed it by stamping a new tag and
tying on a sweet red ribbon.
Perfect for holding little Valentine goodies.

I hope you like it!

Please also stop by the rest of the amazing design team
member's blogs and leave them some comment love.
and we have the great honor of having
the amazingly talented Joy Taylor
as our February guest designer!

And don't forget to pop on over to the
for all the deets on how to enter.

Have a great day, everybody!
