Northern Lights Card - Lawn Fawnatics #164
Happy New Year, my friends! Today we're ringing in 2024 with a brand new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge: Let's Celebrate! For my first card of the new year, I've combined a whole bunch of Lawn Fawn sets, including Penguin Party, Snow Cool, Beary Happy Holidays, Snowball Fight, and Simply Celebrate Winter Critters. I colored all the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies. For the speech bubble sentiments, I used even more sets, including Simply Celebrate Critters, Simply Celebrate More Critters, and the Simply Celebrate Winter Critters Add-on.
For the background, I took a piece of Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock and blended on Distress Oxide Inks, using Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, and Black Soot to look like the Northern Lights. Then I splattered on some Gansai Tambi Starry Colors and Dr. Ph Martin's Bleedproof White to give it stars and snowflakes.
I trimmed that down with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables and adhered it to a Mermaid card base. I added a white Simple Stitched Hillside Border snowdrift and stamped a sentiment from Holiday Party Animal in Peacock Ink. Then I adhered my images with liquid glue and finished off the card with some Stardust Stickes for a bit of sparkle.

I'll have all other details and supplies in my post over there, so I hope you'll check it out! This is also Day 1 of my 2024 Valentine Card Series! I know it's not quite the new year yet, but I wanted to get as much as a head start as possible, since I didn't get to create as many Christmas cards as I would have liked this year. Anyway, I really hope you enjoy this one! Thanks so much for watching!

Art Journal with Me #24 - Be Present, Make It Count
Hey friends, today I'm bringing you my last Art Journal with Me video of 2023. This time I went for a Christmas theme in my Square Art Journal, using some Stamperia Rice Paper featuring some sweet little birds with holly boughs and pine sprigs. I love birds and these are really darling. I just love their ruby red bellies.
I also used some Washi tape, Postage Stamp stickers, and other bits of Ephemera to create a collage look that I love. For my personal item, I included some of the wrapping from a Blind Date with a Book that I purchased on a recent trip to Maryland for a family Christmas get together. I added a few strips from the Tim Holtz Ideology Small Talk Stickers for my title, and brought in color using Stabilo Woody 3in1 Pencil Crayons and a little Inka Gold on the edges.
If you want to see how this spread came together, click below or watch the video here on YouTube. Grab some supplies and craft along with me, or make a snack and just hang out. I hope to see you there! Thanks so much for watching!

2023 Holiday Card Series #19
Merry Christmas, friends! I hope that you are having a very happy, magical holiday today, and that you are surrounded by love and laughter. Today I am bringing you Day 19, the final day of my 2023 Holiday Card Series. I'm so sad to see this series end! For this one, I wanted to use the Waffle Flower Under the Tree stamp and die combo and make a really nice and full Christmas morning scene. I colored all the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with their matching dies.
My color inspiration was drawn completely from the DCWV Down the Chimney 6x6 pad. I knew I wanted to layer this one with an explosion of prints and patterns, just like the wrapping paper that litters the floor after the gifts are open. But to tamper them down just a bit, I also added in a mat of Barn Red Cardstock and used some Light Brown Woodgrain Cardstock for the floor. I finished it off with a white heat embossed sentiment and some Stardust Stickles.
If you'd like to see how this card came together, you can click below or watch it here on YouTube! I really hope you enjoy it, and again, I just want to thank you so much for your kindness and support and wish you all a very Merry Christmas!
