Crafter's Companion January Challenge

Hello there, everybody!
I'm here with a project for
The challenge runs all month long,
and the winner receives a $30 gift certificate
So be sure to hop on over there and check that out!

Here's my project:

I decided to decorate a kraft gift bag
embellishing it with a paper doily,
Distress Markers, tickets, wood veneers,
and other odds and ends including
personalized and homemade look.

A close up:

AND ...
I filmed a video tutorial
where I walk you through just how easy it is
to take a plain gift bag, and make it into
something that showcases your crafty style,
rather than purchasing a common gift bag from the store.
So much prettier, and much more cost-effective, too!

I hope you enjoy it!

to watch there in HD.
And while you're at it, why not subscribe? ;)

Thanks for popping in!

  1. I love taking plain craft bags and decorating them...so much fun! I try to stock up on them once in a while so I always have a supply. I know that I found a good sized K&Company pack of the narrow Kraft bags for like 3 dollars a while ago, but I also like to pick up the bigger sizes for 2 for a dollar at dollar tree...

  3. Do we have to have their stamps to join? I love the images, but don't have any yet...I spent the better part of yesterday watching your videos on YouTube and am convinced I need everything you mentioned in all of them!!! Cute bag, cute image!

    1. Karen, you're so sweet! Thanks so much for watching my videos! If you click on the Crafter's Companion Challenge link I posted, there's a list of five things that you can pick and choose from to participate. You do have to use at least one. But they do have some gorgeous and adorable images. Such a wide range of lines. They cover it all!

  4. Christiana, what a cute gift bag. The layout and embellishments are great with the adorable image. I really need to break out of the card mold and do more projects this year. Thank you so much for your kind comments and I'm sorry about your unfortunate events. Hopefully this will be a fabulous year filled with crafty goodness.
