I recently got to work with one of the brand-new stamp sets,

Happy Easter! And I just had to use it on my card for this challenge.

I created a fun little garden scene for my bunnies,

and used a sentiment from Critters Down Under.

It's meant to go with the kangaroo stamp, 

but it works perfect for these bunnies as well.

I borrowed the carrot image from Hoppy Halloween.

See, this is what I love about Lawn Fawn.

Their images are so versatile and work so well together.

Where Flowers Bloom

Hey, y'all! Happy weekend!

I'm in the midst of a four day weekend myself --

or should I say, my boys are. ;)

Their vacations don't exactly translate into a vacation for me,

but I was able to squeeze in a little crafty time yesterday.

I made a card for the current Crafter's Companion Challenge.

The theme is: Love Is In The Air. 

So I thought it was the perfect opportunity to try out my new

Mulberry Wood - Love You stamp set by Crafter's Companion.

I colored this cutie in with my Spectrum Noirs

on Crafter's Companion Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock.

I hope you like it!

And while I assembled the card, I decided to film a video.

Happy Valentine's Day, everybody!

Hope you're feelin' the love. :)

Today I thought I'd share this little cutie 

from the brand new Angelica & Friends 

EZ Mount stamp line at Crafter's Companion.

Her name is Eleanor and I had so much fun bringing her to life

with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.

I also added some DCWV paper,

a paper heart doily, and a few floral embellishments,

along with some stickles on her tutu, 

because every ballerina needs some glitter!

Crafter's Companion Sheena Floral Launch

Hey everybody! 

I'm hear with an awesome product launch 

over at Crafter's Companion today.

Artist Sheena Douglass has just released a brand-new floral line 

that includes six gorgeous EZ Mount stamp sets.

I've made a card for the occasion.

I used my favorite image in the line -- the magnolia blossoms. 

Aren't they lovely?

I colored them in with my Spectrum Noirs

and used some papers from My Mind's Eye,

added some May Arts twine and a Studio Calico

wood veneer butterfly, which I also colored with my Speccies.

I used the sweet cow and coordinating sentiment from

Lawn Fawn's Critters On The Farm, and paired it with papers

from the Making Memories Children At Play 6x6 pad.

I added a paper doily from the $1 bin at Target,

a couple of May Arts ribbons and red twine, 

and two Studio Calico wood veneers.

I colored the heart with a Spectrum Noir marker.

Crafter's Companion Angelica & Friends Blog Hop!

Hello, friends!

A little exciting news for you today. :)

Crafter's Companion is releasing a brand-new stamp line

called Angelica & Friends,

with NINE new stamp sets and a coordinating CD-ROM.

To celebrate this happy occasion, the US and UK teams

have come together for an International blog hop.

Also, the US team is hosting a giveaway 

of FOUR of the brand-new stamp sets -- a prize worth $40!

The winner will be drawn at random from one

of the US design team member's blogs

and is open to US residents only.

You have until Wednesday February 6th at 9PM PST to enter.

The winner will be announced on the 

Crafter's Companion USA blog on Thursday.

So sweet, right?

And here's my card:

The first thing I did was choose my background paper,

which was from the Making Memories Children At Play 6x6,

then I colored sweet Miss Angelica Fairy

with Spectrum Noir markers to match.

I die cut her with a Spellbinders circle die,

then left the paper in the die and sponged the edges

with Tumbled Glass Distress ink to give it a blue halo of sky.

I adhered my paper to the card, and added two thin strips of 

yellow patterned paper, which I also colored with Speccies

to tone down the brightness just a bit.

Added my image, a die cut flower, one of the sentiments from the set,

 and a few gems and pronounced her ready for the hop!
