Bird and Berries

Hey all!

Today I'm here with another new release from Crafter's Companion.

The fabulous Sheena Douglass has come out with a line that I know

is going to excite a lot of you -- called A Little Bit Magical.

This range has four sets with lots of fun images that give a nod toward

Merlin, Harry Potter, and all things medieval and magical.

And it's got some nature images as well, like this bird from the set "Honesty."

I colored him in with my Spectrum Noir markers in colors:

 BT1, BT2, BT4, CT1, CT2, CT3, CT4, CR8, CR11, DR7, BG2, BG4, and BG6

on Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock.

Lawnscaping Challenge #64

Good Monday Morning!

Welcome to Lawnscaping Challenge #64!

Special thanks to the wonderful folks at Simon Says Stamp

Here's my card:

I distressed my background using Evergreen Bough, Forest Moss, Peeled Paint,

and Vintage Photo Distress Inks, and then black heat embossed the little foxes

from Lawn Fawn's new Into The Woods stamp set and colored them in with

Wild Honey and Ripe Persimmon Distress Ink and a water brush.

Added a little twine and a wooden button and called it a day. :)

Hey there, ladies!

Popping in with another card today.

This one is using a sentiment from the set

 Stamp-It Australia "Dreamy Daisies"

by Crafter's Companion.

I distressed a tag, and used papers from the Carte Bella "So Noted" 6x6.

I love patterns like this that do most of the work for you!

May Arts ribbon, a little twine and a button and my card was complete!

I have to confess, one layer cards are super challenging for me,

but I managed to come up with a sweet little scene that I'm proud of.

I used Lawn Fawn's Home Sweet Home and 

Happily Ever After and colored it with my Spectrum Noirs.

But in the interest of full disclosure, I have to admit

that this card didn't stay one layer for long.

I was on my way to my cousin's wedding and the card just seemed

to simple for such a special occasion. 

So I cut it apart and turned it into this:
