Lawnscaping Challenge #21

Hi there!

This challenge is sponsored by the wonderful

They have generously donated a $25 gift certificate
to their online store for the winner.

Here's my card:

I used Lawn Fawn's Turkey Day stamp and a
sentiment from Many Thanks.
Did a little paper-pieceing using gorgeous patterns from
My Mind's Eye So Sophie collection 6x6 pad.
Added some lace, Papertrey Ink buttons and twine,
and some Queen & Co pearls, and it was done!

I hope you like it.
And I'll give you a little hint -- if you like
the supplies I used on this card, you just might want to
stop by my blog sometime tomorrow. ;o)

For now, I hope you'll take a few moments to visit the rest
of the design team and leave them some comment love:
and our AMAZINGLY talented guest designer,

We are so excited to have Jennifer with us!

Please don't forget to stop by the
for all the details on how to enter.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!

  1. That's the most Elegant Turkey I've ever seen! :) This is just beautiful, I love the lace & button embellishments you added. Keeping this one in my inspiration bank because I always have a hard time using so many embellishments. But you have done it perfectly!!!!

  2. Aw, thanks guys!

Chari, I started with just that blue button and thought I was done. But that side just felt unbalanced. So finally I added the pink button and thought I was done, but it still didn't feel quite right. I thought of adding the pearls and was really pleased with how it turned out! It's way more embellishments than I typically use, but I'm so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone.

  4. Hi Christy, Thank you so much for your lovely comments...I had a blast making the card! You asked about the seal I coloured.... I used warm Grey Promarkers 1,3 and 4 to colour him :)

Your turkey looks so handsome with his tail of many colours, love the lacy border too :)
