Lawnscaping Challenge #31

Welcome, welcome to Lawnscaping Challenge #31!

We appreciate them so much!

The theme of this challenge is coloring, which is right up
my alley, because I am IN LOVE with my Copic markers.
Like seriously. In love.

And I'm going to let you in on a little personal secret.
All throughout my life, child, teenager, and adult,
I kept a secret stash for when things got really bad
or difficult in my life, or I had a tough decision to make.
My secret stash held two things:
a box of 92 count Crayola crayons
and a Precious Moments coloring book.

Coloring is linked to one of the only truly blissful
memories I have from my childhood
and it's something that I've come back to time and time
again as a way to relax, de-stress, and find calm.

It was only when I discovered Copic markers
about a year and a half ago that I finally passed
my box of 92 count Crayolas on to my kids.
And I no longer keep a secret stash,
my Copics are right out in the open on display
and I use them with pride, you know why?
Because coloring isn't just for kids anymore!

Here's my card:

I used the dragon from Lawn Fawn's
Critters Ever After stamp set
(LOVING THIS SET -- can you tell?)
and paired it with my most favorite boyish papers
at the moment, the Awesome 6x6 pad from
Simple Stories. Added some distress inks
and orange Doodlebug twine which I muted slightly
by pressing it directly into my Antique Linen
Distress ink pad by Ranger Industries.

I hope you like it!

Please stop by the Lawnscaping Challenge blog
