Blue Hue Necklace

Hello there!

Today is a bit of a different post for me.

I don't know if you're aware, but before I got into paper crafting

I made jewelry for about five years.

I had an Etsy shop and did pretty well with it, 

but after a while I just got burnt out and wanted to try something new.

It's been a few years since I've created anything with beads,

but my step-mom's birthday was coming up and I thought

it might be special to make her something unique.

I chose four different styles of blue beads, drawing my shades

from those pretty cut glass swirly beads toward the front

and also attached an acrylic pendant.

And what's a necklace without earrings to match?

The whole ensamble.

Birthday Cake is the best kind

Hi there, everyone!

Today I am here to introduce an ADORABLE new stamp line

from Crafter's Companion called Makey Bakey Mice.

This line includes six everyday and six Christmas stamp sets.

I chose to feature the everyday set "Make A Wish"

because it seems I can never have enough birthday cards!

I colored this sweet image in with my Spectrum Noir markers:

PP3, PP5 OR1, CT2, CT4, DG3, CG2, TB1, TB2, BG2, BG4, BG6, TN7, TN8, 

EB1, EB2, IG1, and IG2 on SN Ultra Smooth Premium White cardstock.

Lawnscaping Challenge #66

Hi there! Welcome to Lawnscaping Challenge #66!

Here's my monocromatic card:

I have to say, this is one of those times that I just could not get my card

to photograph well. My camera has a hate-hate relationship with white.

But I needed a sympathy card for a friend who's mom recently passed

and this was what I came up with.

The clouds are outlined around the edge with a Wink of Stella 

glitter pen -- I just can't seem to get it to pick up on camera,

no matter what angle I take the photo from.

Anyway, I hope you like it.

I used Fly Free, Blue Skies, and Peace Joy Love.

Your Hug's Arrived

Good morning, all!

I know that fall is fast approaching,

but I gotta tell ya, it's still spring in my heart!

I am just not ready for the colder weather --

not yet!

I wish fall lasted much longer than it does

up here in Northwestern PA.

It seems like just when the trees are all lit up fiery red,

you blink your eyes and snow's on the ground

and it lasts until nearly May.

Like I said, not ready for that yet!

Today's card is featuring the darling Crafter's Companion 

stamp set Soufflé the Duck "Say It With Flowers"

and a sentiment from Party Paws "Hugs From Bamboo".

I colored it with my Spectrum Noir markers

BT2, OR1, CR8, CR11, DR7, DG3, CG1, and CG2

on Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock.
