Hey friends! Welcome to Day 2 of the Pretty Pink Posh Blog Hop for the July 2017 release! I'm super excited to be joining so many talented ladies to bring you inspiration for these fantastic stamps and dies. You should have arrived from Eloise's blog, but if you get lost anywhere along the way, just pop back over to the beginning at Pretty Pink Posh.
For my card, I wanted to use the Sea Friends to create a little underwater cove. So I colored my images with Copic markers and die cut them with the matching dies. I used the largest die from Stitched Duo 3 to create my peekaboo window, and drew cracks and crevices all over to make it look aged.
The background was made with Distress Inks and a few spritzes of water. Then I added my images inside and outside my peekaboo cove to create a layered effect.
I scored the top of my Distress Inked panel and attached it to the inside of the card with a thin strip of scor-tape, so that it can be lifted to reveal a place to write a message to the recipient. And I couldn't resist adding another cutie pie from Sea Friends there as well. Both of my sentiments were pulled from Bear Hugs.
If you're interested in seeing how this card came together, I have a video tutorial for you. Click on the YouTube icon to watch it there in HD.
Did I mention that there will be prizes? Be sure to leave a comment at each spot along the hop! Paulina is giving away four $25 gift certificates to four random commenters (2 winners each day) left before July 18th, 2017 at 11:59 PM PST. For the complete list of participants, please see the links below.
But now you're on to Lisa's blog. Happy hopping!
