Dreams Come True - Lawnscaping Challenge #138

Hello friends! We're off to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Oz! Lol. Today I am super excited to bring you a card that I've had in my mind for a really long time! I don't know what took me so long to make it. Maybe I was afraid I wouldn't be able to pull it off. But Lawnscaping Challenge #138: Geometric finally pushed me to do it. It was the perfect time to pull out Lawn Fawn's Interlocking Backdrops to create my yellow brick road.

Happy Harvest allowed me to recreate my favorite scene from my favorite movie, when Dorothy comes upon the Scarecrow in the cornfield in The Wizard of Oz. I totally watched a clip of "If I Only Had A Brain" on YouTube to help me get inspired! Stitched Hillside Borders and the Picket Fence die helped finish things off.

I hope you enjoy the video! Click the YouTube icon at the bottom right corner to watch it there in HD, and please don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe. Also be sure to come back Friday for my 10K Subscriber Video Hop! It's going to be so much fun!

Huge thanks to Lawn Fawn for generously donating a FREE stamp set of the winner's choice for our prize this round. Head over to the Lawnscaping Challenge blog to check out the other amazing design team samples and don't forget to link up and play along.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have an amazing day!

Make A Wish, Ellie

Good morning, friends! Today I wanted to share a card using the adorable WPlus9 Unforgettable stamps and dies. This set is still one of my most favorites, because I just adore this sweet little elephant. She'd bring a smile to any face!

I gave her a little hat and balloon to hold and some bird friends to really make it a party! Images were all colored with Copic markers.

I also wanted to just let you know that one week from today I'll be kicking off my 10K Subscriber YouTube Celebration Hop! I've got lots of special guests and some awesome prizes to give away so be sure to stay tuned for that.

I hope you all have an amazing weekend! It's Friday! Yay!

Laura's 10K Subscriber Video Hop

Good morning, everyone! Welcome to Laura's 10K Subscriber Video Hop! I'm super excited and honored to be taking place in this awesome milestone celebration!

For my card today, I was inspired by those Lift-the-Flap board books my kids used to read when they were small. Using some partial die-cutting, I was able to achieve the same results and do some fun peek-a-boo reveals of adorable Lawn Fawn critters.

I hope you enjoy the video! Click on the YouTube icon at the bottom right corner to watch it there in HD, and please don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe! Laura will be giving out some amazing prizes, so be sure to leave a comment on every video along the way for your chance to win.

The next stop on the hop is Christine of Create A Smile Stamps. I know she'll have an amazing project for you. For a full list of all the hop participants and prizes, see below, or visit Laura's blog.

4 Cards With Avery Elle

Good morning, friends! I hope you're enjoying one of the last Saturdays of summer. I'm headed to the beach for my writer's group picnic in a little bit, but before I go, I wanted to share the results of my craft session yesterday.

Before I left for Germany, I was taking part in Kathy Racoosin's The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge, which is great for building up your stash of colored images. I pulled out all the ones from Avery Elle's Woodland Wonders, and determined to use them all in as many cards as I could make.

Since I love cards with full scenes, I made sure to use at least a couple of these cute critters per card, and ended up with four cards in total. I had to color and die cut extra elements like trees, bushes, and grass to pull the whole look together, but it was a lot easier having the images colored and die-cut before I began.

I went ahead and filmed the entire process. I hope you enjoy it! Click on the YouTube icon at the bottom right corner of the video player to watch it there in HD, and please don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe! Also, I recently hit 10,000 subscribers on my channel (crazy!) so I'm putting together a celebratory video hop with special guests and awesome prizes. That will take place next month, so stay tuned!

Have an awesome weekend!

Kraken Birthday - Lawnscaping Challenge #136

Hey friends! Are you ready for another Lawnscaping Challenge? This one is super fun because it's out punny-est challenge yet! We all know that Lawn Fawn is great with the puns, so this one should be super easy to play along.

I had to use Lovable Legends to make a birthday card for my water and critter loving nephew. This set is right up his alley! I colored my images with Copics and die cut my focal panel with the Stitched Journaling Card die.

Lawn Fawn is also our gracious sponsor this round, so our winner will receive a FREE stamp set of their choice! Just in time for their brand-new release too! Now that's motivation to enter! Please stop by the Lawnscaping Challenge blog to check out the other amazing design team samples and link up your project to play along.

Have a great day! Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hoppy Birthday - Lawnscaping Challenge #135

Good morning, friends! Wow, can you believe we have already entered August? Back-to-school month? I'm not ready to think about it. Let's district ourselves with a new challenge, shall we? Haha! It's time for Lawnscaping Challenge #135: Patterned Palooza!

This one is right up my alley, because I am addicted to patterned paper! I used four different prints on my card layout, to serve as a pretty backdrop to my cute bunny from Happy Easter with sunflowers from Our Friendship Grows.

Our sponsor this round is the lovely Ellen Hutson, LLC who has generously offered up a $25 gift certificate to our winner. So hop on over to the Lawnscaping Challenge blog to link up your projects, and be sure to check out the other amazing design team samples while you're there!

Have a great day!
