Hey friends, today I'm so happy to be featured over on the Hello Bluebird blog with a card featuring one of my favorite stamp sets, Best Days. I combined it with some other products, which I will have listed and linked in my post over there. This is a card I actually planned out on video, going from no ideas to a complete concept in a video I published last week, which you can find here. This week's video is seeing that concept through to a finished card. You can watch either one on their own or as a part one and part two. I really hope you enjoy them!

Thrilling Birthday Card - Lawn Fawnatics #147
Hey friends, it's time for another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! This time we're asking you to choose sides: city or country? I'm absolutely a country girl at heart, though I still like the convenience of having a city nearby. But one thing I have alway loved growing up was going to the county fair. The rides, the animals, the food, the games ... what could be better than that? So that's what I'm showcasing on today's card. A little country, with a bit of city influence!
For my card, I combined images from Wheely Great Day, Coaster Critters, and Happy Village to create this scene. I stamped them in Jet Black Ink, colored them all with Copic markers in a bright, neon rainbow palette, and trimmed them out with the matching dies.
For the background, I created a card base from Mermaid Cardstock, then trimmed out a Stitched Hillside Border from Cilantro Cardstock and stamped a sentiment at the bottom in Noble Fir Ink. I added my images with a mix of liquid glue and foam tape, and finished with a little Stardust Stickles.
If you'd like to see how this card came together, click below or watch on YouTube and don't forget to like and subscribe! And now it's time to hop over to the Lawn Fawnatics blog and see what the rest of the team has created to inspire you. I hope you'll play along!

Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things - April
Hey friends, today I'm so happy to be over on the MFT YouTube channel with a sweet, Springtime card using the new Bunny Bouquet by Stacey Yacula. I adore this image so much! I stamped it with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and colored it with Copic markers. Then I trimmed that panel down with the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2.
Then I created a card base from Sno Cone Cardstock and covered the front with some patterned paper from the Springing for Houndstooth 6x6 pad. I popped the focal panel up with foam tape, then added a sentiment on an Essential Stitched Sentiment Strip, and finished with a touch of Stardust Stickles.
I really hope you enjoy the April edition of Christy Gets Crafty with My Favorite Things! If you do, please leave me a comment over on YouTube to let me know. I really appreciate your feedback! Thank you so much for watching!

Brighter Days Card
Hey friends, today I've got a colorful, stormy weather card featuring the cute critters from Hello Bluebird Rain or Shine. I loved the idea of these friends coming together to get through the hard times. I used some rainbow-themed patterned paper from the Simple Stories Full Bloom 6x8 pad as my inspiration as I chose the shades of Copic markers to color them in with. Then I trimmed them out with the matching dies.
For the background, I started with a panel of Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock and blended on Distress Oxide Inks. For the sky, I used Speckled Egg, Evergreen Bough, Peacock Feathers, and Chipped Sapphire, keeping the top right corner light and focusing the dark in the bottom left. Then I cut another piece of Bristol with the Grassy Knoll dies and blended on more of the Evergreen Bough and Speckled Egg. I stamped a sentiment on the grass from Rainbow Script
and popped that panel up with foam tape over the patterned paper, using the B side for contrast. Then I finished with some Stardust Stickles.
I also did something fun with the inside, which you can check out in the video tutorial. Click below to watch or you can also find it here on YouTube. I really hope you enjoy it! If you do, please be sure to click the thumbs up on the video and subscribe to my channel. I post new videos every Monday and Friday. Thanks so much for visiting!

Flying By Birthday Card - Lawn Fawnatics #146
Hey friends, it's time for another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge, and this time we've got a gorgeous, bright color inspiration for you! My mind immediately went to the happy, cheerful colors of hot air balloons, so I pulled out the new Fly High from Lawn Fawn and inked that up for the very first time. I colored the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.
For the background, I thought it might be nice to do a nighttime mountain scene. I started out with Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock, die cut various panels, and blended on Distress Oxide Inks. So for the sky, I used Broken China, Salty Ocean, and Chipped Sapphire. For the Stitched Mountain Border I used Wilted Violet, Seedless Preserves, and Villainous Potion. Then I used the grass part of the Mushroom Border and colored that with Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, and Lucky Clover.
I splattered all the panels with some Gansai Tambi Starry Colors and stamped my sentiment down at the bottom. Then I added the images with a mix of liquid glue and Foam Tape for different levels of dimension. I finished with a little Stardust Stickles for some extra sparkle.
If you'd like to see how this card came together, click below or watch on YouTube. I really hope you enjoy it! Also, don't forget to stop by the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog to see what the rest of the design team has come up with to inspire you. We hope you'll play along!
