Happy Friday, friends! Today I've got a fun slimline card for you using the sweet Hello Bluebird Flying High stamp set. In the video, I share a tip for lining up the hot air balloon image over the die cut so that the narrow strings stamp perfect each time. I colored all the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.
For the background, I cut down a slimline panel from Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock. Then I blended on Distress Oxide Ink in Spun Sugar, Kitch Flamingo, and Picked Raspberry and did some splatter detail for more interest. I added a sentiment at the bottom and some clouds from Partly Cloudy, then popped up my hot air balloons with foam tape. I finished with a trio of bluebirds, some pink shading on the clouds, and a little Stardust Stickles.
